The hubby and I did this tour on our first day in El Salvador. Our tour guide Javier communicated with us reference date, time and location. Javier was extremely knowledgeable and truly loves his country. Javier took photos for everyone in the group and was extremely kind and patient with a toddler in the group. I definitely recommend doing this tour! Thank you Javier for a fantastic tour!

Javier did a beautiful job giving a tour in both English and Spanish. He switched back and forth seamlessly! The history of El Salvador is fascinating and heartbreaking and it was so helpful to understand the country a bit better!

Very well done. Dave made us laugh and taught us a lot about El Salvador. It is amazing the changes that they are going through. We recommend both Dave's tour and El Salvador both 100%

David is amazingly knowledgable and a great story teller. He provided us with a very detailed explanation of how El Salvador went from being the most dangerous country in the world to its current position as the safest country in the western hemisphere - all in a matter of a few years. Stops included the new hospital in the historic center, the new indoor mall for former street vendors and El Salvador best Pupusa shop.

Dave makes this too so interesting. He is funny, dramatic, tells great stories, interacts with the group, speaks a little of many languages and has a lot of experience. He is very positive and loves the country.

Dave and Javier were absolutely the best guides to experience El Salvador. Dave’s fun sense of humour combined with his deep knowledge made the entire tour incredibly engaging. We walked for about 3.5 hours, yet it honestly didn’t feel like it at all—I was so absorbed in the stories, history, and interesting facts he shared the whole time. This is one tour you should not miss if you’re in the country, because there are so many fascinating details you simply wouldn’t discover on your own. Javier was equally amazing—so kind and thoughtful that even after the tour ended, he took the time to give me great directions and recommendations for the best places to eat and shop.
