Tips (Propinas)
Cuscatlan Park
We will see how the new salvadorean culture is acquiring the interest for art, sports, orchestra, music, etc. This is the beginning of everything when Bukele began in 2017, and converted San Salvador a nicer place to visit. On Mondays this park is closed so we will meet in the entrance of the park, which is in Alameda Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Basilica Sagrado Corazon de Jesus
We will pass by the hospital area, then we encounter an University campus before we get into the story of our civil war and get to the basilica of Sagrado corazon de Jesus.

We had a great experience on his evening tour. He knew so much about the history of El Salvador, including his own personal experiences. He tooks us through the past at different monuments and buildings, but also showed us the present changes occurring. I would recommend this to anyone coming here for the first time.

There’s no way to put into words how much I enjoyed my time with Dave. His overall sense of humor and kindness is what made this walking tour my most favorite in all of my travels. His love for the city of San Salvador and the country is very evident. This tour was a perfect way to gain a general knowledge of the history and significance of El Salvador. I couldn’t have asked for a better ambassador and I’m very thankful for the unforgettable evening that he had brought me. It’s comforting to know I have a new friend to rely on if I ever return on a future trip to the country. Would highly recommend!

Dave was an amazing tour guide! He was full of so much information, and I learned a lot on the walking tour. I really liked how he quizzed us along the way — it was funny, clever, and such a great way to make sure everyone remembered the historical facts about the country. I had such a great time; there were so many laughs I actually lost my voice by the end! Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn and have fun at the same time.

I had a wonderful time on Dave's tour! I have been to El Salvador numerous times but can say thanks to Dave's tour, I learned so much more of El Salvador's history that I was not aware of before. He was so lively during all our stops and you can sense the joy he feels when he retells his stories.
