We will pass by the hospital area, then we encounter an University campus before we get into the story of our civil war and get to the basilica of Sagrado corazon de Jesus.
The Walking tour to all the stops
Entries to some churches, parks, and plazas.
Sometimes we have some Cafe Horchata, some quesadillas and some pupusas these drinks and snacks are excluded in the price.

MUST NOT SKIP TOUR!!! I went on this tour a few months ago and loved it so much I decided to bring my whole family! Dave is AMAZING, he is so knowledgeable and animated; making it the most fun and informative three hours in San Salvador. Even my baby nephew enjoyed it! I have done other tours in San Salvador and none even come close to his!

Dave spent three hours just trying to "sell" El Salvador and Bukele as some utopia. And then dropped us off at the most mid pupuseria ever The tour did not feel like it had clear direction, and instead we were just meandering through downtown while Dave pointed out a random Starbucks or other chain that "wasn't there before Bukele" There's no doubt Dave works hard, but his jokes are corny and repetitive. Also, for $35, he could've invited us to $1 pupusa

Dave is the absolute best! Not only is he knowledgeable but his energy is unmatched. It is obvious he loves what he does! His outgoing nature is infectious. He made the entire tour fun! We all learned so much about the history and culture of San Salvador. Dave’s tour is a must if you’re visiting San Salvador. Please remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring water. You get to see monuments, visit the market, and spend time in the historic center! You also get the opportunity to eat Papusas at the end of the tour! The cheese Papusas at Kuskatán are delicious! From start to finish, you will not be disappointed at this tour and spending time with Dave!

Dave is a great personality, I was a solo traveller and didn’t feel out of place. Great little tour going through the past, present and future of El Salvador and getting recommendations on restaurants and foods.

It was. Incredible to visit and discover El Salvador. Highly recommend the tour as you see the city center and learn about the country history and rocky past, and how it has evolved to one of the safest cities today. You also get to eat great pupusas at the end 😀

Dave is a very knowledgeable, personable and articulate tour guide. He started and ended our tour as planned. He illustrated the history of the country by sharing stories of his family and friends during the darkest periods of not- so-very-distant past. He also passionately talked about the transformative changes that the current president of El Salvador has been implementing in education culture and economy. I really enjoyed the tour. Thank you Dave!
