  If you're looking for a truly authentic Italian experience, this is it. From the moment we arrived, we felt like welcomed guests rather than customers. Sergio's beautiful home offered breathtaking sunset views that set the perfect backdrop for an evening of cooking, conversation, and incredible food. What impressed us most was Sergio's depth of knowledge. He didn't just teach recipes, he shared the "why" behind every ingredient, technique, and tradition. Throughout the evening, he provided countless practical cooking tips that we'll be using for years to come. His passion for authentic Italian cuisine is contagious. Together we prepared an amazing meal that included eggplant parmigiana, fresh gnocchi, handmade ravioli, fresh pasta, and a spectacular tiramisu. Every dish was made from scratch using quality ingredients, and the results were absolutely delicious. Seeing how authentic Italian food is prepared in a real Italian home was an experience we'll never forget. The evening was enhanced by a wonderful cocktail upon arrival and excellent red wine throughout dinner. But beyond the food and drinks, what made the experience truly special was the company. Conversation flowed effortlessly, stories were shared, laughter filled the kitchen, and by the end of the evening we felt like we had spent time with old friends. This was far more than a cooking class. It was an authentic glimpse into Italian culture, hospitality, and family traditions. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy and an experience we would enthusiastically recommend to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast. Five stars aren't enough.   Our experience at Sergio’s was perfect. The class is private, at his home, and he immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable with a drink and appetizer. Then it was a nice mix of him teaching us vs participating ourselves. And the food was amazing!! The experience was truly memorable and special. Highly recommend!

  Sergio’s cooking class was so wonderful! My husband and I cook and bake a lot but have never take a cooking class. We learned so many tips from Sergio and just had an overall great experience. First, it’s a private class, for you and whoever is in your group. The value is great, in terms of what you learn, the small class size, and the price. We almost went to a place that charged 200 euro to be in a group of 6-8. It was at a restaurant in Positano in the evening and we didn’t know how we would get back to Maiori so late. We are so glad we found Sergio’s class and he had such an early class for us to take! It was so special and intimate to be invited into someone’s beautiful home and to learn to cook their family recipes! There are a lot of stairs leading up to his home (we weren’t expecting them and were out of breath when we arrived!) but it meant the view was insane. If you do the 12pm class like we did, you’ll sit at the round table in the shade, and if you do the 7pm class, you get to sit out on the bar stools to watch the sunset over the water! Of the many views we saw on our trip, this was up there! We left very early from Maiori so we wouldn’t miss any buses and we arrived quite early. We let Sergio know when we were on the way and he accommodated to let us start early which was so kind and unexpected! He made us some aperitivo (with less alcohol since we mentioned we don’t drink much), and fried pizza and we hung out in the yard just chatting for a bit. His dog, Leo, is very cute and friendly and would lay out in the sun or shade by us. We started the class and Sergio explained the difference between some flours, and pasta, which was good to know. We made ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, strawberry tiramisu and gnocchi. It was all so delicious and we got to ask questions and learn so much! Sergio has the timing down and is very efficient. Once food was ready, he’d set our table outside and serve us with homemade white and red wine, and we would enjoy the food and view while he cleaned up and prepped the next thing. We were so full by the end of the class and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! He gave us recipe print outs (they are not updated at the moment but his son will help him update them soon! We just took notes and made revisions which was fine). This was such a fun experience and I don’t know if we will ever take a cooking class that will top this! We met a couple at the bus station after the class and they snapped a photo of Sergio’s business card!   We had the most INCREDIBLE time at Sergio’s Home Experience Cooking Class! Sergio is so amazing! He spent so much time and efforts arranging his menu to reflect our allergies and dietary restrictions that included vegetarian and vegan dishes! We came from Positano area and it was easy to arrive. We were 5 adults and 1 kid and it was a pleasure to cook, learn, and eat together. He has a beautiful kitchen, and a gorgeous outdoor area with a breathtaking view! During our class, he was super caring, attentive, and interesting to learn from. Sergio shared such valuable, fascinating knowledge with us that included learning how to make authentic Italian dishes. Making those dishes together felt really special! His hospitality and care were well above and beyond, and he made our trip so unique and memorable! We’ll 100% come back to take Sergio’s cooking class again next time we’re in town, and we’re super grateful to have learned so much from the amazing teacher, Sergio! Sergio’s amazing attitude, his home-made recipes and the experience felt super authentic and special! We highly recommend Sergio’s home experience! Thank you so much!!!

  We had an amazing meal at Sergio’s home! We were so impressed with the food and recipes. He is a wonderful host and the view from him home cannot be beat! We are excited to make gnocchi at home now.

  We visited Sergio's casa for the lunch experience from Italian heaven. It was a real experience with a real cook - he has worked in restaurants in town and farmed there his whole life. He has homemade wine and some great tips for preparing gnocci, Eggplant Parmasan and Strawberry Tiramisu among others.

  Sergio's cooking class was a total highlight for our trip. His knowledge and talent are undeniable. We made four courses as well as started with an aperitif. We had a delicious pasta fritta with a welcome cocktail, then learned to make four dishes which we hand-crafted and ate as our dinner with an incredible view! We had gnocchi with green beans and a lovely pesto, ravioli with roasted provolone and ricotta and tomato sauce, (my favorite) the best eggplant parmesan I have ever eaten, and finished with a strawberry tiramisu. As a vegetarian, the menu was perfect for me as well as delicious. We were given print-outs of all recipes we made with very thorough information for each step so that we may recreate the dishes at home. Sergio's home is lovely, as well as his adorable dog! The kitchen was perfectly ready for our cooking class, and the meal was had outside on his patio with a breath-taking view of Praiano while the sun sets. We also got to try a white wine from a local friend of Sergio's as well as a red FROM HIS OWN VINEYARD! Both of which were delicious and complimented our food beautifully! Thank you, Sergio, for all that you do and for all that you taught us. It is completely clear from the moment you start your class, that you love the art of cooking and teaching others about your passion and skills. Do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS CLASS! Everything about it was spectacular, all for an incredibly affordable price that is sometimes difficult to find on the Amalfi Coast.   Sergio was very sweet. He taught a private cooking course for my friend and I. The food was delicious, he explained the purpose of each ingredient as we added it. We got to play with his adorable dog Leo. The food was as fantastic and we got to keep the recipes. The food tasted very authentically Italian and it was an amazing experience.
