No need to arrive too early for check in. The lounge chairs in the boat have already been assigned. You will share with someone else unless you’re in a group of four. The boat is a ferry also, but the top is for the tour customers only. At one point, you will get the whole boat to yourself. The all you can drink drinks are only sangria, beer, water and soft drinks. The paella is done about 2-3 hours into your trip. While they are making it, you can snorkel or swim out in the ocean. They do have snorkel masks. They didn’t let us do the paddle boards. I think due to the wind The paella was good. It did have more chicken than sea food and some people got more seafood than others. It is served for you. For dessert, they had cantaloupe and watermelon. The cantaloupe was so good. Once you get to Formentera, they give you three hours to do what you want. On the way back, they do serve you a glass of Cava.

This experience started off rough when you are assigned to share a small daybed with a stranger and your party is split up. The listing does say "shared daybed" but it is such a small space that presumably you would share it among your own party not a stranger. The boat is being used for ferry services on the lower deck and this all day sailing experience for the upper deck. The boat first sails to Formentera to drop off the lower deck passengers. There is no update from the crew about the agenda of the day, option to get off, plan etc. We then sailed to another area just off shore away from any other boats and just floated. For 2+ hours. In the beginning people were swimming and snorkeling about after a half hour, everyone was back in the boat in the very over-packed deck, staring at strangers and napping. After about 90 minutes another guest went to talk to the crew and we were informed we would be here another hour and eat lunch here. They made Paella although guests weren't informed when that started, so the "live show" portion was largely missed. The "open bar" is rather misleading as it is a grape juice/sangria, beer, water, and soft drinks. You re use the same plastic cup throughout the day which seemed to be questionably clean in the first place. When we finally went to formentera and got off we had 2.5h to explore. Barely enough time to go to the beach and get back. I wish we would have known in the morning during the first stop at formentera so we could have gotten off the boat and enjoyed the island instead of floating in the ocean for 3 hours without anything to do. The crew needs to update passengers more frequently and let you know the plan/agenda/options in the morning. This was basically a ferry with some beverages and I wish the marketing for the price was a little more transparent. The sunset cruise back was beautiful and formentera itself was too. I would save the hassle and take a regular ferru and enjoy the day at the beach.

We booked this trip for the opportunity of snorkelling and visiting Formentera and it didn’t disappoint. The staff were amazing, so helpful with food, drinks and instructions for getting on/off boat. Amenities on boat were clean and they provided snorkels and water propellers for use at the cove stop. We were a big party and staff accommodated a birthday cake celebration we took onboard as well. Would highly recommend this trip, not a full on party boat (which we were pleased about) just chilled music, great vibes and good facilities. I will definitely recommend this to clients travelling to Ibiza, Formentera is a beautiful island and well worth a visit. Also the Paella was lovely, fresh chicken and prawn, but also option for vegetarian too.
