Our catamaran takes you to the island of Icacos. Disembark and find yourself at a beautiful beach with crystal clear blue water. The catamaran will stay at the beach until after lunch. During that time you can beach comb, swim or just relax on the beach in this beautiful Caribbean setting. After lunch we sail to a reef where you can snorkel around the reef to see tropical fishes and coral. Then we hoist our sail for a relaxing sail back to the dock

The drive to Villa Marina is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours from San Juan. Please check in at the dock by 8:30 am at the latest.

We need to be informed in advance by phone if you are bringing a certified service dog. Dog must have service dog tag/ID.

If we need to cancel the charter due to weather you will not be charged. All determinations about weather cancellations are made by our captain. We watch the weather on an hourly basis, and in the tropics the weather is often locally specific. Please do not make the mistake of deciding not to arrive to your excursion because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged as a no-show if the trip goes out.

NO refund for NO SHOW or late arrival.

Minimum age is 4 years old. We will require proof of age.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect

Cayo Icacos

Please note that check-in at the dock is at 8:30 am at the latest. Our signature experience aboard the Barefoot IV Catamaran is a must-do while visiting the Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico. Guests will enjoy a 45-minute sail to Icacos Island or one of the breathtaking surrounding islands of the Fajardo Keys. Swim, sunbathe, play with our beach toys, or collect shells on a deserted island. Take advantage of our flotation belts in the crystal-clear Caribbean water while sipping on a refreshing piña colada. Our catamaran arrives and anchors at Icacos Island. You can swim at the beach in clear blue waters using our complimentary floating devices. In the afternoon, after lunch, we sail to the Reef for snorkeling. If you have other dietary restrictions, please contact the local operator immediately after booking. Vegetarian options are included in the buffet.

Crystal clear waters, beautiful fish, idyllic sands, all in all outstanding. Note the reefs are dark, not bright colors, perhaps from damage from hurricane Maria. But it was excellent.

Beautiful catamaran trip to a private beach for fun in the sun and a short trip to an ocean reef where you can see lots of different fish. The water is beautiful and there are some schools of fish. There will be other tour groups and it may not be as bright and colorful as snorkel trips in Mexico or Hawaii but it’s still fun and beautiful. Lunch and drinks were provided.

The staff was fantastic. Very friendly and very nice. The boat is just smaller, extremely limited in moving around, using the restroom you have to bend completely over etc. The staff took great care of us and it was a beautiful ride, but it is just a small catamaran which makes it less comfortable.

The staff was good (2 people). Switched our boat to a smaller one. Hard to get around. Very small up front and tight to go around to the back. No covered area. No rum punch, just pina coladas (not blended). Snorkeling was nice and the beach. Just wish they had more options for drinks.
