Our catamaran takes you to the island of Icacos. Disembark and find yourself at a beautiful beach with crystal clear blue water. The catamaran will stay at the beach until after lunch. During that time you can beach comb, swim or just relax on the beach in this beautiful Caribbean setting. After lunch we sail to a reef where you can snorkel around the reef to see tropical fishes and coral. Then we hoist our sail for a relaxing sail back to the dock

The drive to Villa Marina is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours from San Juan. Please check in at the dock by 8:30 am at the latest.
We need to be informed in advance by phone if you are bringing a certified service dog. Dog must have service dog tag/ID.
If we need to cancel the charter due to weather you will not be charged. All determinations about weather cancellations are made by our captain. We watch the weather on an hourly basis, and in the tropics the weather is often locally specific. Please do not make the mistake of deciding not to arrive to your excursion because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged as a no-show if the trip goes out.

What To Expect
Cayo Icacos
Please note that check-in at the dock is at 8:30 am at the latest. Our signature experience aboard the Barefoot IV Catamaran is a must-do while visiting the Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico. Guests will enjoy a 45-minute sail to Icacos Island or one of the breathtaking surrounding islands of the Fajardo Keys. Swim, sunbathe, play with our beach toys, or collect shells on a deserted island. Take advantage of our flotation belts in the crystal-clear Caribbean water while sipping on a refreshing piña colada. Our catamaran arrives and anchors at Icacos Island. You can swim at the beach in clear blue waters using our complimentary floating devices. In the afternoon, after lunch, we sail to the Reef for snorkeling. If you have other dietary restrictions, please contact the local operator immediately after booking. Vegetarian options are included in the buffet.

5.00The experience was great. The whole crew was friendly (I only remember Hector’s name) and it was super fun. The beach is beautiful with clear water and the snorkels spot was ok. There are other spots with more sea life, but great regardless.

5.00This was my very first experience on a Catamaran and it was truly amazing. This excursion is worth every penny especially since there is an open bar with food included, and the drinks are absolutely delicious. They offer a wider variety of cocktails and the food was very good. They had sandwiches, salad and even pasta salad. There was more than enough food for everybody. They also had fresh fruit for snacking. So in my opinion, you’re getting your moneys worth but the best part was really the hospitality. The crew really put us at ease quickly. They were welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Mateo who was the head of the crew and bartender was very nice, chill, and funny and the other guys were really cool too. I had conversations with all of them and got along with them well. We stopped in two different places. One was at Icacos where we docked for a while and then headed more into the water by the coral for scuba diving which was a blast. It wasn’t too intense for those who are wondering. Both places were fun and laidback. I had wished the excursion were longer because it was so much fun. The time flew quickly from 8:30am-2pm. The day was beautiful too so it made it extra enjoyable. Make sure to bring cash for tipping. And these guys definitely deserve it because they’re hospitality is phenomenal. The Pina Coladas were my absolute favorite and the drinking starts at cast off so be ready. 5 out of 5 hands down.

5.00We really loved this experience. The crew were super friendly and helpful. Drinks were exactly what we were looking for. They provided plenty of time (2 hours) to be on the actual island as well as in the snorkeling spot (at least 1 hour). The music kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day. The marina also has bathrooms and showers for when you return. Just make sure that you are staying somewhere close to the pickup location or have means of transport since it is about an hour drive from San Juan.

5.00My husband and I were in PR for our honeymoon and this was his favorite part of our entire trip! Finding the dock/parking was easy, the staff was incredibly friendly and personable, the unlimited drinks were awesome and the provided lunch was delicious! We had so much fun snorkeling and being out on the water for the day. No notes!
