Let this vacation bring you a unique opportunity to go ice climbing with world champions. Highly qualified guides will teach you some basic rope handling and ice climbing techniques. The activity will take half your day to experience something different with climbing a frozen waterfall. It is performed in small groups and includes all the technical gear in the price.

What To Expect

You will try ice climbing in the beautiful surroundings of the Julian Alps in the village of Mojstrana. There is an artificial ice climbing field that looks like an ice kingdom fairytale. First we will ensure you have all the equipment needed to start the climb. Before the climb, the guide will teach you all the techniques you need to know about ice climbing. You will try different routes, which can be adjusted to suit beginners through to advanced levels.

My husband and I went ice climbing with guide Matevz. Neither of us had ever ice climbed before but thought is sounded like something fun and adventurous to try. The climbing location itself was perfect for the experience, very impressive to see and offered a number of climbing routes for us to scale. Matevz was a brilliant guide for the day, he was friendly, informative and an expert in world of ice climbing. In addition, the photos captured on the day were brilliant and will be well shown around to all of our friends and family! I cannot recommend this experience enough, we had an unforgettable time.

Absolutely amazing! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent teacher. This was a new experience for me and Matevz guided me through every step. What an incredible experience, I would recommend Altitude Activities to anyone! Matevz also took some stunning photos of us and the landscape. Would 100% contact them again. A must do in Slovenia

We went ice climbing and it was such a great experience! Guys are obviously experienced pro climbers and such a fun team!!! We felt completely safe during whole day, even though we had no former ice climbing knowledge. The frozen waterfall they took us to was like from a fairytale! Can't wait for the spring to arrive to go canyoning, rafting and zip-lining with them!

Myself and my dad went ice climbing with Matevz Vukotic, most amazing experience, great guidance through techniques as well as a lot of fun and laughter, would most highly recommend and we will definitely join again!
