Our meeting point is Holiday Club Saariselkä, or we can pick you up from your hotel or other location. We will drive to Lake Inari, Veskoniemi, in a Multivan hybrid. From there, we continue with a short snowmobile ride to a nearby island. You will travel comfortably in a sleigh, or if you prefer some exercise, you can walk along the sledge track. A local, experienced guide will provide instructions for ice fishing. You will receive your own fishing rod and can start fishing in true Lappish style, using either a worm or a maggot to catch the fish. After fishing, we will fry sausages and enjoy warm juice and coffee by the fire. This is a great experience, even if you don’t catch any fish!
