If there is a type that you want to learn from the basics or want to do whatever you like using the textbook, I would like to teach it. First of all, the instructor will make a sample while looking at the textbook, and have each one make a living by themselves. After that, I will comment or revise it, and have them take a photo. If you have time after the lesson, we offer Japanese sweets and Matcha. If you are interested in tea ceremony, we will teach you how to make basic tea ceremony.

Hiromi was an excellent teacher—patient, caring, and very encouraging. She clearly loved her craft, and conveyed the beauty of ikebana during her lesson. As a kid growing up in Japan, I can remember my mother practicing ikebana. The lesson brought back many wonderful memories of my childhood. We are deeply appreciative of the beautiful experience we shared with Hiromi. Attached are the very first ikebanas!

A wonderful morning spent in the pleasant company of Hiromi whom I found to be welcoming, inspiring and so happy to answer all my questions! Would hope to do another workshop with Hiromi on my next trip.

What an amazing experience! It was lovely to see a traditional Japanese neighborhood and learn about Ikebana from an absolute artist! Hiromi taught us about the history and guided us through our first ikebana creation. We also were pleasantly surprised with the matcha and sweet treats. We highly recommend Hiromi’s class!

A wonderful class that was a true celebration of ikebana with Hiromi. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience - a true highlight of our time in Tokyo. Such a unique experience that included a history of Ikebana and an introduction to the experience and philosophy of this Japanese art. The arrangements that we made were just beautiful that I look forward to repeating an home. A true practice in mindfulness and that celebration of nature's beauty.

Incredible, intimate experience that covers the history of Ikebana and of course allows you to make your own. One of the most unique experiences I’ve had in Japan during frequent travels.

I've had a long love for flowers and always dreamt of going to an Ikebana class, despite not having the strongest practical skills. Hiromi-sensei's kind and clear instructions gave me the confidence to step into the art form wholeheartedly while putting into practice the aesthetic principles. She shared with me more about the Sogetsu style of Ikebana, which is a contemporary approach with greater flexibility for interpretation. There are tools and textbooks stocked at the studio, should you potentially wish to procure them to continue your practice. If you're a lover of flowers yourself, I can assure you that you'll have a wonderful time learning from Hiromi-sensei!

Amazing opportunity to learn from the Master the art of Ikebana! Dive deep to the Japanese culture and become one with the nature! Learnt so much new and really enjoyed the Ikebana art! In the end enjoyed delicious matcha and wagashi (Japanese sweets) in the original tatami room.
