You will meet at our meeting point, where you will receive a short safety debrief and if you are going for a night hike you will also receive a headlight (flashlight). Our hike will take you through a combination of unpaved roads and trails. We will immerse ourselves in the deepness of the Atlantic Forest, where you will see and learn about the diverse wildlife of this region. As we ascend, we will take short breaks to catch our breath and appreciate the stunning surroundings. Once we reach the top, you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking views that await us. You can take your time to savour the rewards and experience the tranquillity of the forest. Our private tour ensures that you have the flexibility to set your own pace and take advantage of the undivided attention of our knowledgeable guide. You will also have the advantage of being able to enjoy the hike with your chosen companions, creating a memorable experience that you can cherish forever. Once the spectacle is over, we will begin our descent back to Abraão Village, Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime adventure and experience the beauty of the Atlantic Forest at your own pace.

5.00I did an incredible night hike to the top of Ilha Grande with Quintino, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He is extremely passionate about nature and truly enjoys sharing his knowledge. Throughout the hike, he explained so many interesting things about the environment, wildlife, and the island itself. Quintino adapts perfectly to your walking pace, is very attentive and cautious, and makes you feel safe at all times. He is flexible, patient, and really tailors the experience to the group or individual. This was a unique and unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Quintino to anyone looking for a meaningful and well-guided hike on Ilha Grande !

5.00We had an amazing experience hiking Pico do Papagaio at night for the sunrise with Quintino as our guide. From start to finish, he was professional, calm, and extremely knowledgeable about the trail. He set a perfect pace, made sure everyone felt safe, and shared great insights along the way. Reaching the top at sunrise was unreal — 100% worth it. You can really tell Quintino cares about the experience and the safety of the group. If you’re thinking about doing Pico do Papagaio, especially a night hike for sunrise, I highly recommend Quintino Guia. Couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

5.00A few days ago, my longtime close friend and I had the chance to do this incredible hike with our wonderful guide, Quintino. We met him at 1:30 AM in the town center, where night-goers were still partying and drinking—adding a lively flair to what could have been a groggy, pre-adrenaline start. Making our way from that buzzing town square into the quiet, dark jungle was such a fascinating and jarring transition—in the coolest way possible. I originally signed up for the hike mainly for the amazing sunrise view, but walking through the jungle at night turned out to be a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. It could’ve been scary, but Quintino made it all feel magical. With his stories, songs, and jokes, the whole journey was a joy. Any fear of the night melted away. He brought us coffee and snacks for the top of the mountain, and even packed a blanket for a full-on photo shoot at the summit! His knowledge of the plants and animals around us was impressive, but what really stood out was his sensitivity to our energy and fitness levels. As a novice hiker, I never once had to ask for a breakhe just knew when to pause, let us breathe, and then gently guide us forward. And somehow, we still made it to the top in perfect time for the sunrise. I would 10/10 recommend this adventure—and if you can, definitely request Quintino as your guide!

5.00We thank George for joining us on this path in ilha grande, at first we hesitated to do it as we were uncertain about doing it at night to the peak, with everything that could reach, but, with George we felt very safe and enjoyed the path, he has a lot of experience in the area, and while you are walking he is teaching you things of the nature of that place, I definitely recommend doing it at night, it is worth 100%. You won't regret doing it! The best of the island

5.00Great experience. Hans, the guide, a genius. I recommend doing it at night to see the sunrise (unique) and if or if with guide. The trail has more difficult sectors and the guides anticipate it. It is also very well organized. I'd come back a thousand times.

5.00After knowing I wanted to visit ilha grande for hiking I knew Pico do Papaggio was the one to aim for. Initially thinking I would do it during the day, but once looking on Trip Advisor saw the option of doing a sunrise hike. Came across Martin's name (and great reviews) and messaged on Whataspp and added on Instgram. Was communicating with Martin prior to arrival for the details - very communicative and perfect English. The hike started at 0230hrs, and we reached the top before sunrise. Fairly long slog up but absolutely worth every step. We didn't get bitten to death either which I was expecting. The sunrise was unforgettable. Orange, red, white - amazing shades. Hear the sound of wildlife and relax at the top for a bit. View is just stunning. Martin is great - tells you about different animals and insects that live in along the trail and you might be lucky enough to see some things (we did). Got back to the town for around 0930hrs. Trek was not rushed and caters for the speed of the individuals. Would recommend Martin for sure if you are wanting to do this, and DEFINITELY do the sunrise hike.
