We do not have any control of the flow of tourists coming to the most visited island in the Caribbean during the busiest times of year.

Meeting point if you're driving yourself, as well as quick opportunity for bathroom break, purchase smoothie, empanadas.
El Yunque National Forest
Our day will begin with a moderate to medium level hike, discussing local flora/fauna native to Puerto Rico, as well as key roles these played in our indigenous roots on the island. FHike is about 20 min into the rainforest (approx. 1 mile, or 4 laps around a track.) Upon arrival, we will set any belongings we have brought with us to the side and continue up another 10 min (.25 miles) to the natural water slide where we will be swimming. Life vests will be provided. Once every guest goes down the water slide, we will return to where we left our belongings to enjoy some small but exciting jumps and rope swing. For all your hard work we will cut fresh seasonal fruit! All activities will be recorded and photos will be taken throughout your journey! Photos or it didn't happen!

Meeting Point: Meetup will be at Frutera Flores (Carr. 3 km32) @ 7:45am, 11:45am. You will follow the guide in your vehicle to the trailhead
Duration: 4 hours: Shorter since you’ll have your own vehicle, the longer tour includes pickup/dropoff time
Your own vehicle: Same tour without transportation included. For locals or those who want to take advantage of their rental vehicle. NO UBER

5.00One of a kind experience!! We had a smaller group (9) with Nelson, which made for a really amazing time. Nelson did a great job explaining everything well beforehand in addition to when we got to each stop, making sure we were all aware and comfortable. Felt incredibly safe the entire time, but still able to go outside my comfort zone and experience some extraordinary things. Highly recommend, book with Nelson if you can !

5.00This was such a fun tour! Nelson was a fantastic guide! He was funny, knowledgeable, caring, and knew what he was doing. My friends and I had such a fun time and I would 100% do this again the next time I come to Puerto Rico! I’ll recommend this to everyone I know who comes for a visit!

5.00We had such a great time. Nelson was fun, funny, made sure we stayed safe and told us the history and pointed out various natural items (both local and invasive…ugh), but it’s great for us to learn while having a good time. They were on time, and it felt like we were family.

5.00I booked Tranki Tours based upon the recommendation that they were all about peaceful, nature, and patience. My family of 6 went, including my MIL and 2 kids (6 and 8 years old). Francis and Justin were freaking awesome! I was so impressed at their knowledge, skillset and ability to help us share and take in the beauty that El Yunque had to offer. It felt like such a lucky experience to have both of them to help us navigate the hiking and maneuvering through rivers, cliffsides, and boulders. We were nervous at the intensity, however, both Francis and Justin were calm and confident and helped us so, so much. Can’t say good enough things about our core memory experience of El Yunque- all thanks to Francis and Justin!

5.00This company is top notch. Francis knows his stuff and communicates really well. He knows how to adjust the tour for each individual. Justin saved all of us over and over, whether by helping us climb big rocks (I’m 5’3), or swimming so quickly to a boy who got a little stuck after the rock slide. Would do more tours with them in a heartbeat.

5.00Francis and Justin were amazing guides! We felt safe in an otherwise unknown environment in the rainforest and well taken care of! As a family, this is a trip we will never forget! Well worth every penny. They went the extra mile to capture pictures and videos of us and communicated well all day. Be prepared for a few sore muscles the next day but we’re so grateful for the opportunity to hike surrounded by such beauty!! Requires good balance and some level of fitness. One of the highlights of our trip to PR!

5.00Justin and Francis were amazing guides. They took wonderful care of our family, including escorting our two children (7 and 9) over the terrain and waterfalls. They had an infectious kindness and positivity, and a love of Puerto Rico was so that was evident. This was an epic family adventure. The photos don’t do it justice. Pack light and prepare to have the time of your life.

5.00We did the immersive El Yunque tour with the waterslide, rock jumping and rope swing. It was amazing! Our tour guides did an incredible job of guiding us through the entire experience. I would highly recommend this for older kids and fit adults. Our family feels like it was the highlight of our entire vacation!
