The protected area approx. 40 km2 of the island is the home of 12 species of mammals, 21 species of snakes, 16 of lizards and more than 200 species of birds such as Blue Back Manakin, White tailed Sabrewing , Collared Trogon, Blue Crowned Mot Mot , Orange winged Parrot and many more. Tropical trees and plants, Hummingbirds, Butterflies and reptiles.

5.00We had a wonderful day in the rainforest, from hummingbirds to parrots, it's just amazing what you can see on Tobago. We can highly recommend our tour guide Katharina Dumas, she responds to the guests' individual wishes and her enthusiasm for Tobago is contagious. We also did the island tour with her and were fascinated by her knowledge and information about the country and its people.

5.00I was able to experience this tour in January 2024 and was more than thrilled. I was able to observe many birds and had plenty of time to take photos and admire nature. The guide made a lot of effort to find and explain things worth seeing. The tour is highly recommended. I would do it again any time.
