The Cozy Cabin was a great experience! I had sprained my ankle the day before, and Tracy, the guide, accommodated me by offering to lend me crutches and getting me chairs so I could still admire the aurora outside. She provided tripods for everyone and Sim, the photographer, helped us take photos. When the aurora wasn't very strong, there was warm bannock and fish chowder ready in the cabin so we could stay warm. I highly recommend the cabin for those who want to try a different experience from aurora hunting.

Tracy is our tour guide and Sim is our driver. Both are very sweet, caring, honest, knowledgeable and friendly throughout our trip. Tracy prepared us Bannack & soup in the middle of the night to keep us warm. Sim also helped us took lots of beautiful Aurora photos. Tracy also provided us camera tripods to take beautiful Aurora photos because she cares. I can assure that only Tracy’s Aurora trip has the warm cabin, late night supper and camera tripods being provided. I recommended this trip to everyone and is the best Northern Light trip in Yellowknife so far because I got join other Northern Light trip in Yellowknife like Yellowknife Vacation and is truly sucks! You won’t go wrong with Tracy’s trip even when there is no Northern Lights at all.

Oh its just amazing. The end. Hahah! Tracy has a great area for aurora viewing, we were lucky to see one of the strongest sub-storm in months at Tracy’s place. You can see and feel with naked eyes that the Earth is indeed round, not flat! Haha! The lights filled up the entire sky, all dancing, what an amazing experience! I think lots of credit of the experience goes to the location itselt. It levels up the experience. Not to mention the delicious food and drinks and service offered by Tracy and her team in a warm little hut, with costumes for us to take pictures. The driver (forgot his name) helped us to take some amazing photos under the lights too. Very grateful! The only thing was the pick up time took a while to finish. Coz the aurora was already going crazy when we were at the hotel, as someone who saw the aurora for the first time I thought, oh no will it end before we even arrived? But luckily it didnt! And it went even crazier when we got there! My friend and I were very happy about the entire experience. Thank you Tracy and greetings from Hong Kong!

This is very rustic but fun. Tracy and Sim our tour guides were great! The fish chowder and bannock were delicious. Dressing up in the furs were fun. We toasted marshmallows and made smores around the fire. Unfortunately the aurora did not make an appearance. The sky was too cloudy for it to be visible. If you need to go to the bathroom you will using an outhouse. There is no running water there. I would recommend bringing hand sanitizer. Also you are walking into a wooded area...so wear appropriate footwear and I would bring a flashlight to see your way through the woods if you don't have a cell phone with the flashlight app. The flashlight app works well but not enough light if you're guiding more than yourself as the terrain is abit uneven....especially if you are unsteady on your feet. The cabin was very warm inside which was great. It was indeed cozy. It held maybe 25 people.

I did 2 Aurora tours. The first was Cozy Cabin and the 2nd was Aurora Village. I highly recommend Cozy Cabin for a very personalized experience. Tracey went above and beyond for this tour and the Bison Hwy Tour. The bus ride there was on time and very comfortable and modern. We arrived and were provided with a delicious fish chowder (I forget the name of it) and yummy freshly baked scones, and warm beverages. It was cozy but we had plenty of space. to move around and warm up by the wood stove. The clothing she provided was warm and very much appreciated. The canin is decorated in a way that makes you appreciate the local culture. The best part was that we got to see beautiful auroras dancing through the sky. Sim the driver and photographer was awesome too. Thank you Tracey and Sim for an exceptional experience.

We had a great time at the Cozy Cabin, with Tracie and her assistant Sem. The Cabin was indeed Cozy and they had fish chowder and freshly baked bannock for the group. Tracie even surprised me with a Birthday-cake.

This tour is good for the people like to have romantic time and warm place when they watch the northern light, the tour only stay in one place. It’s nice to have a warm room to stay and hot soup and drink. There’re and custom clothes to change to take pictures and keep your warm. Do even last nigh is raining, we still have a good time.

Tracy's cabin is definitely cozy. It is filled with tea and costumes you can dress up in as you wait for Ms Aurora to light up the sky. The fish soup and baked bannock hits the spot at midnight. The property is in the outback with no light pollution. She will take your photo under the lights when they appear swirling above and send them to you for free (helps if you have WhatsApp). It was a great bucket-list experience. I got to see the northern lights at her cabin even on a cloudy night with haze from forest fires. Tracy explained that Yellowknife is under the Aurora oval, the place where the most activity happens. Highly recommended.
