You really couldn’t be in more capable hands! It’s such a thrilling sensation gliding on the ice, and a truly unique experience that you will never forget!

When you book, you will receive a list of suggestions on how to dress for the day.
CHECK IN time is 15 minutes prior to tour departure. Arriving at departure time or afterwards will likely result in you missing your tour.
The transport to the starting point will either be by private minivan or by public transport depending on the size of the group and the ice/weather conditions.
This tour operates in all weathers unless the guide deems it unsafe.
This tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to operate, should this minimum not be reached you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
What To Expect
Don’t worry if you’ve never tried ice skating before, anyone can do it! Come and join us for a very Swedish winter adventure; skating on natural ice in and around Stockholm. It’s such a thrilling sensation gliding on the ice, and a truly unique experience that you will never forget! Your guide will brief you on the tour and the safety equipment first off, then coach you on the best technique for gliding easily over the ice. There will be a few practice exercises to perfect that technique before you set off on your adventure! You will skate for 3-4 hours before stopping for a well-earned picnic lunch. There will be hot drinks, an open fire and our classic outdoor lunch on offer.We always strive to find the best natural ice on the day of your tour. This means that, depending on the weather conditions, the location of our adventure and the skating conditions may vary. We could go to a small lake, to Lake Mälaren (the 5th largest lake in Europe) or to the Baltic Sea in Stockholm’s Archipelago – we won’t know until that day. We skate on all types of natural ice; from hard black ice, to ice with water or snow on top. One thing we do know for sure, is it’ll be a great experience!

5.00Hands down- most fun experience! The guides were extremely helpful, very friendly, the scenery was BEAUTIFUL, the weather was less than cooperative but the guides made the best of it, including taking us on a side hike and teaching a little about the nature aspects of Sweden. 100/10 would absolutely do it again. I was nervous that I was too uncoordinated, too heavy, too out of shape, and the guides took every fear away!

1.00They are not professional at all. I haven't had ice skating before and one organizator pushed me from my back to skate faster and i fell down very badly. And had to back home in first hour. they didn't give my money back. Terrible organization.

5.00Went on the beginners ice skating tour with my family this January and it was so much fun! + the team was super lovely and accommodating, we are from Australia so as you can imagine had absolutely no experience in ice skating but still all had heaps of fun (tip: if you know how to ski you may have an easier time). Especially for my mum, who couldn’t really get the hang of ice skating, they took her to visit a local art exhibition/cafe for the last half and she had a great time as well! Would 100% recommend if you’re visiting Stockholm as a great place to experience the local nature :)

4.00Great experience! The guides were very friendly and gave good advice. The break at the foot of the fire was very pleasant and everything was thought of and planned for the meal. The only downside is to bring a change of socks because the water passes through the shoes.
