These iconic events take place in charming towns and villages across the Highlands, celebrating Scotland’s heritage with thrilling traditional sports, lively music, and vibrant dancing—all against a backdrop of stunning landscapes. We’ve put together four unique summer itineraries, so you can choose the gathering that best fit your travel plans.
Highland Games Programme for 2026:
Sunday 17 May - Gordon Castle
Saturday 4 July - Forres
Saturday 22 August - Lonach
Saturday 5 September - Braemar

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Children under 5 years old, including infants who do not require a seat, are not permitted to travel. We are unable to accommodate any child under the age of 5.
It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
Return time for Gordon Castle & Forres Games is 5pm, Braemar and Lonach Games return at 7:45pm.
Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
The order of the itinerary route is subject to change.
Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark

Highly recommended tour if you want to see the wonder of the Highlands in a day. Organized very well with milestones and unforgettable moments. Our guide Louise really prepared, empathetic and super nice. If you could give more stars it would deserve them all. Truly a beautiful and exciting experience.
