The Whiskey Museum was very educational and we enjoyed our time spent there. Lydia the tour guide was phenomenal! She’s a gifted storyteller and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend it for those who want to better understand the history of Irish Whiskey. We enjoyed making our blended whiskey sample.

What a fun and creative tour! Small scale and not too massive. Gary gave a guided tour in a humorous way. You can choose from different types of tastings. I chose the simple ( 3 types of whiskey) of 24 euros but that is really worth the money. You will be under the pans for over an hour and you will be taken into the history of Irish Whiskey. Great!

Gary was an amazing guide with extraordinary acting skills. The blending experience in itself was good, with four samples of different whiskeys, that you can take home with you afterwards

The hubs and I are whiskey lovers from Colorado, so we spent some time looking into whiskey related activities in Dublin for our anniversary visit. This tour and blending experience was the highlight of our trip. Located close to Temple Bar and Trinity college it was perfect for the long day of walking around sightseeing we had planned. Linda was our tour guide and blending instructor and she was hilarious and informative giving us insights into the history of Irish whiskey, a Gaelic lesson and endless laughs even before all the drinking. We felt at ease and never once had to guess what was next. She was engaging of all the participants, drawing even the quietest into the conversation. And her dinner recommendations were spot on. She is true gem in this treasure chest of an experience.

The blending experience was an educational one. The Museum is independent of any distillery and was able to provide a variety of whiskeys for different regions of the country. We had toured Jameson earlier in the day, so some information was repeated but having different distilleries represented and a wide variety of flavor profiles made it a great experience. The museum staff, we had Colm, were very easy to work with and we left with 2 of out very on blends. I recommend doing this tour with the cocktail tour back-to-back - see Cocktail class review for additional information.

The tour was very interactive and fun, ending with a premium whiskey tasting and blending experience, which was super interesting! I got to take home my own little bottle of whiskey that I blended myself. Our guide, Callum, was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. He made everyone feel included and told the history in such a fun and engaging way. If you don’t want to visit multiple distilleries, this is the perfect place to learn about the biggest Irish whiskey brands and try a bit of everything in one spot. The only small thing I’d note is that we had to fill our blend bottles using the tasting glasses, which didn’t have much whiskey left in them. If you don’t like one or two of the samples and want to use only the others for your blend, there isn’t quite enough to fill the whole bottle. Overall, though, it was a brilliant experience, highly recommended! 🥃🇮🇪

Briain was a fantastic guide who taught us everything there is about Irish whiskey. Of course that it is better than Scottish whiskey!

What a nice experience, our first afternoon in Dublin and then immediately learning all about the Irish whisky. The story was told quickly with the necessary humor and ended with tasting different brands of whisky. If you don't like whisky to drink, there are also tickets without the tasting. We had a nice afternoon here and now know that if we're in an Irish pub somewhere, we have to turn around if they don't have Powers.
