In the morning, meet with the guide and start driving to Iskanderkul lake (130 km ~ 3 hours), a real pearl of the Fan mountains (located at an altitude of 2,100 meters above sea level). There are a lot of legends and interesting stories about the lake. Explore the surroundings by visiting Snake Lake (Ko'li Mor), which is famous for its clear waters. Walk along the lake and visit the waterfall "Fan Niagara" (height 38 meters) situated 800 m below the Iskandar river. Afterward, drive to Panjakent. Spend the night at the hotel in Panjakent.

Seven Lakes

After breakfast, continue your journey to Seven Lakes (Haft Kul). Seven small lakes make up the Haft Kul, which means "seven lakes" in northwest Tajikistan. Legend says that these lakes are the tears of the daughters of a missing man, while science suggests that they were formed after earthquakes changed the course of the Shing River. Whichever version you prefer, the Haft Kul road offers one of Tajikistan's most accessible treks and serves as a perfect introduction to the country's natural beauty. In addition to the stunning azure lakes, there are numerous villages to explore, where friendly locals are often happy to invite travelers for tea. Afterward, take a walk to the final lake of Haft Kul: Hazor Chashma, also known as the "thousand springs." The slope is gentle, and the altitude is relatively low, with the lake sitting at around 2,400 meters (7,870 feet).
