Kayak tour gives a different perspective on the historical value of the Main City. Paddling through the canals allows freedom to see places ferries cannot access. We will show you a completely different Gdansk to the one you’ve seen on land. Paddling in the city is a must for any visitor to Gdansk.

Our kayaking tours are beginners friendly as the techniques are easy to learn. We have both double and single kayaks that can be assigned accordingly at the beginning of the tour depending on skills and experience.

Please arrive several minutes before the tour. We begin with a mandatory safety briefing. Late arrivals will not be admitted

You have to be able to swimm to participate

The weight limit is 110 kg.

Each minor should be accompanied by an adult in the kayak

Alcohol, drugs, and any intoxicating substances are strictly forbidden before and during the tour.

Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not allowed.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

What To Expect

Crane

The Crane is one of the defining symbols of Gdansk and represents what little is left of the city's great trading age. Built in the mid-15th century as part of the biggest double-towered gate on the shoreline, it also served to install and remove ships' masts, and to load and unload heavy cargo from vessels docked at the quay. Incredibly, this human-powered device could hoist loads of up to 2000kg, making it the largest crane in medieval Europe.

Szymon was very welcoming and friendly as soon as we arrived. He explained everything very well including the safety briefing. The equipment was of very high quality including our dry suit which kept us thoroughly dry and warm throughout our trip. Szymon was very knowledgeable and a fantastic tour guide. The hot chocolate was a lovely little touch!

Great tour with a great guide! Szymon did not get approval from the authorities to go on saturday, and would refund our money, but he offered to take us on a private tour the next day instead, which was great!

The best kayaking experience I have participated in. The guide was very kind, did very good introduction and training. His English was excellent, big historical knowledge and funny sense of humour makes this trip special. I felt safe during all trip. Will definitely come back for another go 👌

We went on a company tour for two hours through the beautiful canals of Gdansk. We were two people in each kayak and we were given life vests and overall felt very safe. We got proper instructions before going into the water. The guide was knowledgeable and good at keeping the group together, while still allowing different kayaks to at different paces. This was definitely the highlight of our trip.
