As a certified Blue Badge Guide, Louise offers a personalised experience driving you to iconic landmarks and lesser known gems that are inaccessible by public transport.
Our Island Discovery Tour is a complete whistle stop experience of the Isle of Man. Travelling along some of the world famous TT course, we'll visit famous landmarks from the north to the south of the island, with plenty of stops for refreshments and opportunities to purchase souvenirs.
Every tour can be tailored to suit your pace, preferences, and individual needs including visiting places that are wheelchair accessible if required, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and discuss your specific needs with us.
The tour timings allow for travel between points of interest and refreshments stops.

What To Expect
Laxey
Starting at the Laxey Wheel, we discover how Laxey evolved from an insignificant sleepy fishing village to the centre of a lucrative mining community with Lady Isabela, the largest surviving water wheel in the world, standing as a bold statement turning to keep the mines free of water. Admission tickets can be purchased on the day by visitors as desired. We will then head down to the beautiful sandy bay passing Laxey Woolen Mills before heading to our next stop.
Maughold
We venture onto Maughold, situated in a stunning area of natural beauty, we can explore a unique blend of Celtic and Viking heritage as we view some remarkable examples of carved stone crosses and explore the remnants of the first monastery on the island dating back to the 6th century.

5.00We booked Louise to take us and our two children (age 7 and 10) on an island tour and we had a fantastic day. The tour was tailored to keep the children entertained whilst giving us a great overview of the island - we were able to visit a beach, see Celtic crosses, castles, Viking ruins and even spot some seals. Louise was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the island, whether our questions were about Victorian miners or how household waste is dealt with on the island, she knew the answer. Our tours was incredibly enjoyable and has set us up for the rest of our trip - highly recommended!

Her mastery of the subject was staggering—not just the who, what, and when, but the why and the so what, effortlessly weaving together threads of culture, engineering, religion, and politics into stories that stayed with you. 5.00I can highly recommend this tour with Louise. Had a great day learning all the history & seeing all of this beautiful country. She picked me up from my hotel on time agreed & dropped me back to the hotel. A very relaxed way of seeing the whole country in 1 day & Louise is such a knowledgeable person & I had a fun day with her. Which is important as a solo traveler. Worth every penny.

We visited so many places and we have seen Choughs, seals, famous crosses, statues, historical houses and places and many other types of bird and animals.
