Muhammet introduced me to several Turkish shops post my Aya Sophia private tour and I was able to find several beautiful pieces of carpets with great quality at a good price. For me the experience is beyond just being able to see many different options that I could choose from but also the hospitality of the sellers. I spent a good hour going through my options being served a delicious apple tea while learning about the different origins and technique of Turkish carpets. I came back happy not only for the purchases but for the experience.

We met with muhammet at the entrance of hagia sophia , he gave us the best tour we have ever had in our life . Now we know all about the Hagia Sophia , than i asked hım where i could find some nice turkish carpets for the house we recently built he was so nice and guide us to the mr Engins carpet shop, franky i was thinking to buy 2 carpets but the carpets Engin showed us were so beautiful and good quality and reasonable for my budget so i decided to buy more while i am in istanbul i was so impressed with the history of carpets and the meanings of motifs so at the end of the day we bought more . I really wished to buy all of them :) mr Engin was not pushy and i did not feel stupid asking questions. Thank you muhammet for an amazing day .
