5.00Beritan brought us on a tour of Sultanahmet, The Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sofia. It was a great tour, Beritan was knowledgeable, friendly and warm. He was happy to answer our questions and had keen understanding of the area's history and cultural importance. With the tour you can skip the queue at the hagia Sofia. Both places offer a fascinating insight into Istanbul and the history of East and West in the world Ladies, remember to bring a scarf to cover your head when going into the mosques and religious sites.

5.00We had a wonderful time touring Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Basilica Cistern with Tourmania. Tourmania staff contacted us to confirm about the tour before the tour date and communicated with us promptly when we had questions. We had Can (Jon) as our tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable, which made the tour more interesting. We highly recommend Tourmania to any tourists who visit Istanbul.

5.00Hussein was a great tour guide, offering many bits of history and information as we waited in line and inside the buildings. Between our two families we had 3 teenage young men (18, 18, & 19). The tour started on time, ended on time, and we had a lovely stop to use the washroom and get a warm drink before we went into the Hagia Sophia. He helped us prepare for the customs of the mosque, explained when we needed to put on our scarves, where to put our shoes, and what some of the beautiful calligraphy signs mean. Also the mosaics in the Hagia Sophia were impressive and shimmered with the light from the windows. If you are going to spend the money on tickets to go into these historic sites, I would recommend this tour to get even more out of the experience.
