What To Expect
We will pick you up from your accommodation or another agreed location and take you to our office, where you will be provided with snowmobile gear. From there, we will continue by snowmobile to the edge of the Hammastunturi Wilderness Area. You’ll sit comfortably in a sleigh pulled by the snowmobile, enjoying the scenery and keeping an eye on the sky for northern lights. Along the way, we’ll stop to enjoy hot drinks and the untouched silence of the wilderness. Along the way, we’ll stop to grill sausages and enjoy hot drinks by an open fire in the untouched wilderness After the activity, we’ll transport you back to your pickup location.

5.00We knew nothing of life or adventures in Lapland, but Johanna and Nilo made sure we were well-versed after two days together! Beginning with the perfect cold-weather clothing, they ensured that we saw amazing sites, experienced the nature and beauty of Lapland, kept us well-fed, and did it all with efficiency, skill, and a wonderful sense of fun! My family and I can’t recommend these authentic guides highly enough!

5.00Johanna and Niilo were the most spectacular hosts and guides. You get to experience authentic Lapland with them, as they are true locals with generations of history in Ivalo. Niilo’s knowledge of the region as a reindeer herder gives access to wilderness you won’t see with any other tourism company. They are friendly, punctual, knowledgeable, and cater to every need including dietary restrictions. Our family loved our excursions with Ivalo Experiences and highly recommend their tours for anyone traveling to the Ivalo area, as the excursions were as advertised (and more!) and were great value for the price.
