Very unique and custom tour

5.00We had so much fun with our tour guides, Hiro and Fukuoka. They took us to 3 different and very unique japanese izakayas. The first izakaya felt traditional with tatami mat floors. The second was a cool standing izakaya with a casual feel. The last was like a homestyle izakaya with a nice atmosphere. They were very unique from each other but represented the authentic Aomori experience. The food and drinks were excellent at all the izakayas and Hiro and Fukuoka customized our experience by recommending the best food and drinks for us. We would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience authentic Aomori culture. 10/10, would book again.

5.00This was a fantastic way to get off the beaten path in Aomori and experience Aomori Itzakayas like a local. If you want to try things you would never know to ask for, go to bars you’d never find on your own, and experience Aomori like a local, this is the tour for you.

5.00Brilliant evening that we shall long remember. Conor and Fukoka entertained us with local delicacies, plenty of beef and sake accompanied with lashings of top class company. Went to some great places that we’d have never found in our own, and we even ended up in a karaoke booth which was an amazing experience. Highly recommended!

5.00My husband and I joined Edo and Fukuoka for a food tour that was very organized beforehand with personalized reminder emails and then also during the tour with meet time/location. The three spots were all very different - we loved them all - a quiet, cozy place, a standing more "dive bar" feel, and then a sit down retro place with EDM music. Each place was about a 10 minute walk from each other - all in the main city center area. The cultural exchange of stories and food knowledge was enjoyable too. We were able to all communicate in English relatively well. Would definitely recommend!
