While you are cozy in the sled bag a team of working sled dogs, along with your musher, will take you on breathtaking ride through a majestic river valley with and unparalleled view of the Tetons. With trails designated for non-motorized traffic you can almost hear the voices of the French Fur trappers.

What To Expect
Actual Time in dogsled is approximately forty five minutes. The adventure consists of dog sledding along the Buffalo Fork River on private trails in the beautiful pastures of Heart Six Ranch. The Buffalo Fork River is a National Scenic Riverway and a tributary to the Snake River which runs in front of the ranch and through Grand Teton National Park and Bridger-Teton National Forest. The views are amazing! The trail is suitable for any age as it is very flat and a safe place to travel. Please note: this is protected land with no snowmobiles or motorized traffic on the trail.

5.00The scenery was breathtaking and the staff was super friendly. Make sure you bring a scarf to cover your face as the sled will go faster than you realize and the wind will bite! This was an amazing experience!

4.00Cool to experience dog sledding. I gave it a 4 because you are limited to an arena type experience and go around in circles over the same terrain. For this type of experience is why I feel the 500 dollar expense for couples is steep. But hey, you dont get to dog sled everyday and it was cool to get a small glimpse of dog sledding. Staff was friendly.

5.00Cafe is closed in the winter but they do offer snacks and drinks to buy. Had a great time. Luke our guide was very good with the dogs. Would recommend if you’ve never been dog sledding.
