We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Matthew showed us round and was both interesting and incredibly well informed. We've visited a few distilleries over the years but we nevertheless learned new things this time. All our questions were answered in a helpful way. When it came to tasting time it was a great experience - and hard to decide which we liked best (and therefore what we were going to buy to take home!). We will be eagerly awaiting the release of their first single malt. In the meantime we would strongly recommend a visit.

We had the most amazing tour guided by Katie. Lovely to hear about the heritage of the distillery, the wonderful ethos of the company and sample the fabulous RAER products. We consider ourselves lucky to have the Jackton Distillery on our doorstep.

What a brilliant experience one we would highly recommend. I purchased as part of my Husband’s Birthday presents and I am so glad I did. From the welcome you receive from the staff especially our guide for the day Matt to the tasting of the blends after, everything was 5 star. The bar area is absolutely stunning and no expense has been spared in making this a beautiful space to relax and enjoy a drink or just a tea or coffee. Our guide Matt was excellent so much knowledge and took us through each step of the brewing process. He is actually one of the ‘blenders/distillers’ of the whisky they produce, he didn’t rush us, we were the only ones on our tour so made us feel even more special. Thank you so much we will definitely be recommending to friends and family and hope to visit again soon.

Great family run distillery gin whisky tour with Katie as our tour guide. Katie was very knowledgeable about the whole distillery and processes and was so much fun. The tour included a tasting session with 4 drams of your choice included and a Whisky cocktail. For the drivers never fear they can provide soft drinks , coffee and you can take home your samples. The tasting session was in the beautiful bar seating area. Katie was brilliant making the Whisky cocktails to our taste. Brilliant value for money . We will be back for future events .

We recently visited Jackton Distillery for a team-building event, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The team art Raer were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable - they struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun. The distillery tour was fascinating, giving us a real insight into the craft and care that goes into every bottle. The tasting session afterwards was a real highlight - we had great laughs comparing notes and discovering our favourites! The setting was beautiful and relaxed, making it easy for everyone to unwind and connect outside the usual work environment. It genuinely brought our team closer together and several of us are planning a return visit. A huge thank you to the Raer team for making the day so enjoyable. We'd highly recommend to any company looking for a unique and memorable team experience. Barry Jackton Moor

I went yesterday with my brother and grandfather (for the latter's 85th birthday). We thoroughly enjoyed the tour from Matt, who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the processes involved. Afterwards we had a glass of whiskey - the Amontillado was the smoothest whiskey I've tasted to date in the stunning bar area. The lager (not currently commercially available) was absolutely phenomenal too. Looking forward to seeing it on the shelves someday! All the staff were very accommodating and I'd recommend this experience as a must visit. Thank you to everyone involved in the tour yesterday.

Absolutely fantastic tour, interesting and informative. Much better than I expected, considering it's a small and fairly new enterprise. The place itself was immaculate and very well set out. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

As an avid drinker of Scotch Whisky and one dipping my toes into doing visits at distilleries, Jackton Distillery has set an high bar in touring, production and atmosphere at their distillery! The atmosphere in their bar area and gift shop (where their tours began and ended at) was very welcoming along with its rustic yet elegant decor. I and a friend of mine visited on the 19th to do the Maltings tour of Jackton Distillery with Jethro Rolland (loved it!) but we got the full Monty with the main tour as well! The history of this wee distillery and I implore anyone to have a visit! We had a tour with the lovely Katie O’Brien whom walked us through the stages of producing spirit through their distillery. I liked the milling because we got a hands on experience on breaking down roasted barley and shake to get the perfect consistency for their assembly of tuns. Walking through to fermentation and seeing the well put together assemblies of their distillery with Katie’s wonderful explanation of the process was a delight! All of us on the tour got a chance to smell inside a cask from the chambord cask that Jackton makes use of in their maturation. We got a spy into their bondage warehouse and the oaky smell was homely and lovely, as well the laboratory on site that they use to test and curate their products is very nice inside. And lastly the tasting at the end where we giving the choices of trying their gin, vodka and whisky. Even those that can’t drink whisky got a lovely cocktail with the Raer original blended scotch whisky that changed a few minds! Particularly I loved their Amontillado and PX blended scotch whisky, which I highly recommend everyone to try. They even offer drivers drams for designated drivers to have a taste at home.
