5.00I had the pleasure to experience two tours with Deepak, the walking tour of Jaipur and a sunset walk to the Monkey and Sun Temple. Both were truly outstanding! Deepak is a very friendly and fun person, who knows Jaipur inside out and is willing to share its secrets and hidden corners. He showed me a lot of places that I would have never been able to find. He's very passionate about his city and talks about it with an enthusiasm that is contagious. Most of all, when I was with Deepak I never felt like a tourist, but a friend, sitting with him and other locals having chai or being welcomed by one of his friends at the flower market with a garland. If you want to discover the soul of Jaipur, don't hesitate to book a tour with Deepak!

5.00We enjoyed every minute of our tour with Deepak. He seems to know everything about the old city of Jaipur and everyone in it and he has a great sense of fun. Deepak is a great storyteller and speaks excellent English. We visited places and learned things that we would never have found from a guidebook. Our tour lasted 3 hours or so, with gentle walking, visiting temples, commercial and residential areas and fresh food market. All in all, a great tour.

5.00The best tour of REAL life in Jaipur! A stark contrast to the amazing palaces, this tour walked us through the backstreets. we saw locals at work making bangles and food and jewellery. We visited temples and a school. Learned about the way of life in Jaipur. Took a short crazy Tuk Tuk ride. Sampled milk cake, bought a few souvenirs and finished the day at sunset at Monkey temple overlooking the whole amazing city. Deepak was simply brilliant! Patient, fun and VERY informative. A brilliant day out. Highly recommended!

5.00Deepak took us to the heart of magical Jaipur - the old trading streets and Jori market. He painted fascinating picture of how the historic city worked with it’s merchants, castes and craftsmen and we saw life today - a temple, a school and architectural gems.

5.00The walking tour with Deepak was such a great experience! My daughter and I loved it. First, the organization was flawless - V Care Tours helped us along the way of getting to Jaipur and the instructions were all clear and reliable. On the walking tour (we also took two days with a driver and guide which were equally good), we got a good feeling for the city as a place where people live and work. Deepak knows the old city and its people and is eager to share his thoughts and ideas as well as his knowledge. We went in the morning because it was June and quite hot. This allowed us to watch the market vendors setting up shop - something really special for us. We then also got a lot of great views. I can't emphasize enough how terrific this tour is! Thanks, Deepak, for all of your care - looking forward to another trip.

5.00We had the absolute best time with Deepak! This was an amazing way to start our trip in Jaipur and is totally different than your average tour. Deepak takes you through the back streets and shows you what daily life in Jaipur is like + shares tales and stories of Jaipur through the years. He’s extremely knowledgeable and also incredibly kind. We would highly recommend this to anyone else!

5.00I am a travel planner and my boyfriend and I have been full-time traveling for a long time— I can honestly say that this is one of the best walking tours we’ve been on. Deepak walked us through a neighborhood in the old city and shared the genuine history of Jaipur culture with beautiful story telling (and snacks!). You won’t get this kind of tour from the every-day tour guide.
