Through this experience, we were able to interact with locals and explore hidden corners of the city that most tourists never see. It gave us a unique perspective on the culture and the people. Honestly, our time in Jaipur wouldn’t have been the same without this experience. Truly unforgettable!"

Our travel agency recommended Seagull Jaunt as a food tour, but it turned out to be a surprising revelation. It is definitely not just about the food; it is a beautiful, immersive experience that allows you to truly connect with local people and see the city from completely different perspectives. While the flavors were incredible, the real magic was the storytelling and the authentic glimpse into daily life that you simply wouldn’t find on a standard tour. Our experience in Jaipur would not have been the same without it. If you want to discover the soul of the city and not just its monuments, this is a must-do!

Following advice from fellow travelers met in a hotel, I decided to book this tour with Umesh - Needless to say this was the best decision throughout 3 weeks of Indian travels !! Umesh is fun, dynamic, knowledgeable, loves his city and his people and will take you places you didn’t know existed. We tasted delicious snacks whilst roaming the city, met genuine and interesting craftsmen and got to experience Jaipur in no way we would have expected. This tour is an absolute must do, truly the key to understanding the city in a unique and formidable way :) Cheers from France !

From the moment Umesh met us at our car to dropping us off close to 4 hours later, we were engaged, entertained and educated with the sights, sounds and especially tastes of the Pink City. Umesh definitely took us off the beaten track experience this city the way only an insider could. We have done city walking tours all over the globe, and this one rates among the very best!

Did this tour with Kumkum a couple days ago and it was great! Saw a real side of the city other than museums and temples, this is more arts and crafts, small food bites, cool hidden corners of the bazaars, and much more in around 3 hours. This is really a great way to see Jaipur. Kumkum was an excellent guide and this is a great time of day to see the colours of the city change. Highly recommend!

I loved this tour so much - it allowed me to do what I really like to do when traveling (wander around and see what's going on, people watch, try different snacks!) and also to see and experience parts of the city that I would never have found on my own (special shout outs to the rooftop walk and the bangle maker who helped me make my own bracelet!) Our guide was Kumkum and she's the sweetest, kindest person - she knows the city really well and her hospitality made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend. I really recommend doing this tour on one of your first days in Jaipur so you get a feel for the city and can get some local recommendations!

If I could have rated this even more I would have! Umesh gave us the most spectacular experience. He showed us all the back streets and details of Jaipur’s Pink City. We visited copper experts, streets full of saris, bangle makers, the button king! And so many more. Because of Umesh’s amazing personality and relationships, we also had spontaneous visits including a henna ceremony before a wedding and visiting the home of royals. Everyone loves Umesh. Food wise, we sampled so much amazing street cuisine: sweets galore, gol gapa, fried chickpeas, pistachio ice cream and beyond. All the best places and our stomachs were fine afterwards. He knew where to go. We rode local style in tuktuks and danced across rooftops. Cannot recommend this tour anymore highly. It made our trip to Jaipur fabulous.
