Start your tour to visit Jeddah’s historical downtown area (Al-Balad) which is the historical area well known as the “Old Town”, where many of the oldest families used to live and work. It boasts of old buildings, a traditional souk and many restaurants, where visitors get to walk amid the old streets and experience the traditional landscape of the old town. When you are in historical Jeddah we will take you back to the old era of Saudi Arabia, all your senses will be in action. Took us everywhere and was very knowledgeable. Shared a lot about the culture as well as about the city. Our guide was also accomodating of my inability to walk long distances, which i was very appreciative of. The only downside was everything was closed at that time. Would take it again but definitely after 4pm.

We do not recommend this tour as it is not as advertised. Our tour guide was knowleddable, but not at all engaged with us - we had to ask to learn about the visits. We had only 45 minutes at the museum as we arrived shortly before it closed, and the Old City is a night visit not a day visit (during the day it is a construction site with no charm and no people). The 6 hour tour was over in 4 hours. DO NOT DO THIS TOUR IT IS A RIP OFF.

I had the pleasure of spending the day with ShahRukh! What a nice day I had! I was a solo female traveler in Saudi Arabia. My tour guide put me at ease right away. His knowledge of the country was outstanding. I learned so much. The itinerary was perfect. Not too much, because it was HOT, but also well balanced. The bay, the old Town, museum, mosques, etc. We even had time to stop for the famous Al Baik chicken! Thank you ShahRukh for a wonderful time!

Excellent 6-hour your. I arrived on Eid, which meant that lots of places were closed. But Saad made the best of it. Showing me the sights and views on the Corniche. Walking tour of the Old City and Fish Market. Traditional Saudi coffee and dates. Lots of information about Saudi culture. I would highly recommend Saad and booking with Viator.
Would be a great tout in the proper time of the day

We were there on a Friday. All businesses and museums are closed on Fridays. The operator should have warned us. In fact, there is no life anywhere before 4 pm, when shops are opening. We were touring a ghost city. Prepare to go back to the interesting places after dark, everything is full of life then. The tour should be offered after 4 pm.

Disappointing. Friends had done this tour the day before me and had a good day. I was driven to the museum which was excellent. From there to the historical district. I was dropped off there and left to fend for myself. I was extremely doubtful I would be able to find my way back to the car so I did not see much at all. I was then driven around other city highlights. There was no suggestion of showing me some place to lunch. We went back to the hotel. A 6-7 hour tour took just over 3 hours.

Our driver didn’t show up. After 1 hour finally a response from the local touroperator. They find a driver. When we started the tour, the driver told us that due ramadan nothing was open, For a 5-6 hour tour we where back within 3 hours.

Jeddah is beautiful and spans tradition in its old part, old Jeddah. There are dozens and dozens of upright buildings with their huge green, blue and wood-colored windows where due to the immense heat, you can even see a climate in the middle of one of these windows that many think is in Spanish style, but in fact, the Spaniards follow Islamic architecture. We went during Ramadan and it was all closed by day (open by sunset, hour in Q stop fasting) By the way, fasting has a noble reason... it's their way of feeling empathy for people who can't eat or drink. Nice that. I am increasingly fascinated by their culture and by this way of life q in the West there is prejudice and that actually has beautiful things and that generate cities of 0% violence, where people respect themselves routinely and that is scary to see women all in black, but.. luckily or as a rule only saw happy women q at the end of the day are with the family enjoying all together a snack, an ice cream on the beach or are in their family homes (when the son home, they would live with the parents) drinking coffee and eating tamaras. Of course nothing is perfect, but my impression is of a very quiet and safe life where women are protected and are more studied than men. Fascinating!

Thanks to Saad I was able to see all Jeddah’s highlights in one day. In particular it’s historical district is a must to see! Small cafeterias, shops and art galleries make you experiencing Saudi culture and the way of living! Excellent tour!
