  Sami was amazing. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgable. He is a great guide, and I would highly recommend him either for a short visit (layover) or longer exploration of Jeddah.

  Communication with the guide was excellent. He was always willing to help and ensure our stay was comfortable and safe. He provided excellent explanations for every question we asked. He very kindly offered us typical drinks and finally gave me a lovely gift.

  Because my flight was changed, i had a huuuge long layover in Jeddah that i wasnt expecting....but instead of getting in a snit and writing a strongly worded complaint to Wizz, i decided to embrace the time and visit somewhere i had never considered, nor had any expectations of. So i booked this trip. Talk about serendipity. In a nutshell, i was picked up right after my flight arrived in Terminal 1, driven around all day, visited the old town, the corniche, the floating mosque, had frozen coffee, (a total godsend in the heat), went to the Tariq Abdul-Hakim museum, saw the 'big' flag, did some shopping and went for a late lunch before being dropped back at the North Terminal for my onward flight, which, i have to say...is nowhere near Terminal 1, and, in fact, is kinda a different airport. So that is what we did..but in no way describes how really interesting, eye-opening and fascinating this trip was. At this point i think i should point out that im a 64 year old woman who has travelled, mostly alone, to over 100 countries, and i have been on every kind of tour you could imagine, possibly too many one might say. But this was refreshingly different..and mainly because of Sami, the guide/driver who not only was genuinely interesting, but also genuinely interested. He did not have a spiel he quoted by rote about when things were built, how high towers were, how many litres of water were in the Red Sea, how many years it took etc. We actually had real conversations about our countries, our lives, our experiences and what was so refreshing, when he asked me something, he actually listened to my answer, and not just to tell me something back, and vice versa. Every one i met was so friendly, respectful and genuine and it was a really fantastic experience i will not forget. This has in every way changed my views about KSA, and am considering another trip. Trouble is...I love wine.

  Sammy was a wonderful and flexible tour guide - we only had a few hours after our confeeence and before my flight but Sammy managed to show us great highlights that gave us a sense of both modern Jeddah, thriving and beautiful as well as historic Jeddah with its jewelry shops, cafes and winding streets. We visited a mosque, we saw the harbor, we ate delicious handmade chocolates and drank refreshing sobia. Thank you Sammy for a fantastic tour - will call you if im ever back in Jeddah!
