One of the most stunning landscapes Sotira waterfall is located on Tomorri Mountain, about 30 km from Berat. Its one of the most beautiful Waterfalls of southern Albania. The beauty of waterfall combined with Tomorri mountain make it a great experience. During our way we will past through authentic old villages where the life is same as 200 years before. Hiking to Sotira Waterfall is a travel in time adventure.The waterfall has an altitude of 100 meters and it stems from Tomorri Mountain, the ground where the waterfall flows.

Best Period to Experience All year long Duration of the tour 5 hours Meeting point – Hotel Castle Park, Berat. We can come and pick you up in any hotel or guest house in Berat. SUV trip to the village of Qafe Dardhe (about 1 hour). The hiking tour lasts around 2 hours and it is available to everyone (no professional skills are required). After visiting the Sotire waterfall we will have a picnic lunch with local products. Than we will hike down and visit a local family in the Qaf Dardhe village.

A MUST DO experience when visiting Berat

A beautiful, fun, heartfelt experience from beginning to end. Communication was very easy and clear with an accommodating team. This is an experience I would never have been able to do on my own. What an adventurous and fun Jeep ride up to the hiking starting point! The whole team was very attentive, pausing when needed, giving ample time for swimming and also eating and sharing stories and lore of Mount Tomor and Berat as well. We even stumbled across a heavily laden Mulberry tree and took the time to happily fill our bellies with the sweet berries. The hike itself was easy to medium difficulty. The food provided was absolutely delicious and lovingly prepared. The contact with horses, goats, the plants and the earth did the soul good. The old mountain towns we came across helped me feel connected to the history of the people and the place, and the waterfalls we had the opportunity to see and swim under brought such joy and awe. I am so glad we booked this tour with Albania Rafting Adventure. Thank you Alma, Queen of Berat, and team for everything!

One of the best experiences of my life... We started the journey by being picked up in the Jeep for the Sarafi. Scenic views the whole way, just stunning. We then stopped of at a sacred area, before hiking along the mountain paths. Again a beautiful walk, a little tiring but the views make it all worth it. Recommend suitable walking shoes. We then reached 2 waterfalls, a view I will never forget. Me and my brother were in shock. After trecking closer we had a swim in the waterfall pool, which was very cold but much needed in the hot weather. And yes we took hundreds of pictures... Paradise. Lunch was included which was a great variety of food, really tasty and much needed after the walk. We then walked back up the mountain paths, I don't want to spoil things too much but the views out of this world Followed by a jeep safari back. Alot of walking but one of the best trips of my lifetime and would recommend to everyone. Louis and Brandon

I was and am very very happy and amazed by that adventure !! It was so cool just becouse of the nature was extremly beautiful , the people was so kind and i was very suprised !! I'm speechless. It was like paradise on earth for me! My expectations are fully completed !! I'm suggesting to all just becouse of the staff was so kind and helpful , the service was great and the food was so delicious!! 😀
