  My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. Park Ji Hoon drove us to the beach, the Haenyo Museum, the haenyo diving show, and the folk village. He was very pleasant and accommodating to what we wanted to see.

  Great experience with our driver Carl. Definitely worth it and will recommend him to our friends. The only downside was the weather. It rained almost entirely during our tour. However all in all it was a great private tour.

• Great private tour by Carl, an original Jeju Islander!

  We had Carl as our private driver for the day and he was awesome. He was apparently not a regular driver for the tour operator but a stand in, and we ended up feeling very lucky to get him! It was particularly meaningful that Carl is a 10th+ generation original Jeju islander, with aunties and cousins who had been Haenyeo divers, so he could really tell us about the original history and culture and language of the island and what it was like to grow up there before all the tourism. While my wife is Korean American and speaks Korean well, Carl spoke mostly in his very good English for me, and occasionally chatted with my wife in Korean, especially interesting when he compared the Jeju dialect with mainland Korean. Carl drove us from Seogwipo all around the east side, to the Haenyeo museum, the traditional villages, Seongsan Ilchulbong, and some beautiful beach views. At each place he didn't just sit in his car, he walked around with us, told us stories, added local insight to what everything meant and facts beyond what was written at the stops or online (some great secrets of the Dol hareubang!) Carl also made sure we got to try some amazing abalone porridge and grilled abalone from a "locals"/less touristy place, and also made sure we tried some omegi tteok and gave us great recommendations for dinner. So, overall we would definitely recommend this tour operator and in particular Carl, who is not the regular driver.

  In Jeju there are 2 ports. Unfortunately due to misunderstanding our driver was sent to Jeju Port instead of the cruise terminal, one hour away. However the business owner met us at the cruise terminal. He was most unpleasant and insisted we pay extra for his driver to come for us even though our tour would be one hour less in duration. Luckily our amazing driver, Andy, was everything the owner wasn’t. Polite, courteous and friendly he went out of his way to enable a wonderful day. He tried to make up for the time lost, was very knowledgeable and his English was more than sufficient and was an excellent driver! He took us to an excellent Korean bbq lunch and carried umbrellas for us! Thank you Andy! Our day started unpleasantly but ended up being a most memorable one.

  We spent 2 unforgettable days on Jeju with Terry who was our wonderful driver and guide. Terry was very polite , knowledgeable and helpful , always eager to answer our questions and help us to select activities to make the most of our limited time . He showed us well - known places and hidden gems of this beautiful island . He also took us to local restaurants where we could try typical Jeju’s dishes . He planned our time very carefully and everything was perfectly organized . We sincerely recommend this tour with Terry and wish we could come back to Jeju one day
