Our custom-built 4-wheel-drive, 4-wheel-steer off-roaders are one-of-a-kind, all-terrain vehicles that will go anywhere. Our off-roader ride is one of Queenstown’s most unique adventure experiences and is definitely not for the fainthearted.

Take aim and fire! At the Oxbow Gun Club, you can enjoy a spot of healthy competition shooting clays out of the sky against New Zealand’s most magnificent backdrops. Enjoy one-on-one guidance in Clay Target Shooting from an experienced instructor ensuring few clays get away alive.

5.00Sometimes these experiences are not as good as they are hyped up to be but this experience was absolutely amazing!!! It deserves all the hype it can get . From a truly unique off road trip with a driver that has some special skills to a world class jet sprint. Can’t rate this highly enough. Thanks team we were left buzzing all the way home .

5.00This is long past due. Last year I went to Oxbow adventures and bloody loved it. I did all three activities and would highly recommend doing all three as there very different in their own right. Special highlight was shooting with the mrs. We've both never shot before and with our expert instructor 'Skinny', we both shot nearly all of our targets. Special shoutout to skinny, if you listen to he's instructions, you'll not only have a great time but you'll hit all your targets. Otherwise thanks Gerry and Nick for both the speed boat ride and the off roading experience.

5.00Great experience from start to finish. Every member of staff we spoke to was friendly and helpful. The instructions and coaching for the clay pigeon shooting was brilliant. Great variation of clay traps that simulate different animals and require different techniques. The jet boats and the off roaders are both incredible machines that shouldn't be missed on a trip to Queenstown. I recommend doing all three activities.

5.00Was fantastic. Staff were super friendly 100% recommend going. Even if it scares you go for it best experience. Staff were amazing in each of their field. We had full confidence in them & the clay shooting tutor was fantastic too very patient & knowledgeable

5.00Great fun with a team of people. Oxbow staff are very professional and accommodating. Highly recommended. Unfortunately the weather was atrocious but Oxbox had the gear to keep us dry.
Go to Oxbow for action with skilled and friendly staff!

5.00We had a fantastic time at Oxbow. All the staff were great. We did the jet boat ride and my husband and even my 7 year old was impressed. Only my hubby and I did shooting with Skinny who was the best teacher (kids need to be 13). He really explained techniques for the different launches. We both hit a few clay pigeons and loved it (might even take it up as a sport). The ultimate off roading was wild and the boys couldn't choose their favourite activity! We had a ball! The jet boat driver, skinny and the driver of the offroader Jason are very skilled! Definitely recommend Oxbow!

5.00This was one of the best days I’ve ever had anywhere! Pro staff. Ther highllight for us both was the offroasing, never have I dropped vertically in a car and I’d so do that again! It was amazing! The jetsprints and shooting with Francis were also fab! Francis was a great person to have alongside while trying to hit those clay circles! He was so patient and helpful. A true professional! The staff were excellent, great instructions and safety beiefings and all were very nice and looked very happy to be at work. Makes a change to see people passionate about their jobs. Thank you so much is so it again! I’d recommend it as a must do to those visiting around! Action packed A++++
