What To Expect

Your private guide and driver will pick you up from hotel , normally takes about 2 hours riding form hotel to Great wall at Jinshanling, This section offers arguably the finest hiking anywhere on the Great Wall. It is extremely photogenic, with over 15 watch-towers, and steep gradients that give constantly changing perspectives and wide, open views. There is fascinating variety in the watch-towers here. Some have two storeys, others three. Some have flat roofs, others rounded and others again are pitched with upturned eaves. This section of the wall is wild, ruined, preserved and original. On a clear day, it is difficult to fail to take good photographs here. After about 3.5 hours , you may need have a lunch ( Not included) , your guide can recommend restaurant based on your requests. Then will take about 3 hours riding back to your hotel.

Comfortable and Seamless Trip to Jinshanling with Bentley from Leo’s Private Tour

We were picked up by Bentley, a driver from Leo’s Private Tour, at the agreed time and place and driven to the Great Wall. Bentley got us out of the big city quickly and comfortably, and the drive to the Wall went according to plan. Upon arrival, we were taken through the security check and driven all the way up to the cable car. Bentley arranged the entrance tickets and cable car tickets while we were served coffee as we waited. The walk on the Wall was amazing, and Jinshanling was pleasantly free of large crowds of tourists — we reached the top around 11 AM on a rainy Sunday, but the rain held off while we were up on the Wall. Bentley was waiting for us and drove us just as comfortably and efficiently back to the hotel in his clean and tidy car.

My driver Mr.Ping from Leo’s private tour was amazing. He picked me up on time, gave me a lot of informations about the history of the Great Wall, helped me to find some paintings for my family and spoke really good English. He took so many pictures of me and even took an hour of his time to make a video of my Great Wall tour. I would definitely recommend to visit the Jinshanling Great Wall for its lack of crowds and beautiful sceneries. Thank you Mr Ping for the wonderful time at Jinshanling Great wall. I will definitely come back with my boyfriend in a few years and a tour with your company for the Jinshanling section.

Absolutely fantastic service from Leo’s Guide & Driver service. The company arranged airport transfers and a three day itinerary in Beijing. All drivers were friendly and the cars clean and comfortable. The highlight for us was Jenny, our lovely tour guide. Jenny was extremely knowledgable, kind and friendly. I would highly recommend and would not hesitate to use this company again.

I booked a tour to Jinshanling section from Leo’ guide driver service, our driver Mr.Ping is amazing. He picked up on time and spoke very good English. We had a great trip walking on the Great Wall. We selected this tour because we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the closer sections of the wall. They picked us up at our hotel in Beijing which was very convenient. The drive to Jinshanling was about 2 hours but very scenic. Our guide, Cactus, was super knowledgeable and kind. She kept us on pace and helped us take some great pictures. We went in the afternoon and the weather was pretty hot. It ended up being a decent workout, although we could have taken an easier route up. I highly recommend this tour!
