5.00My two kids and I had a great time! We lucked out being the only three in the group. We met at a coffee shop, but actually got ice cream as none of us do coffee. The trip to the market was fun and we talked about produce. The highlight, however, was the cooking. We cooked four dishes and ended with fruit we picked from the market. Dishes included beef pho, green papaya salad, banh xeo (similar to fried crepes with savory filling) and an eggplant dish. All were delicious and everything was very hands on. Rosie did a great job adapting to my kids' preferences. They were thrilled to learn to flip banh xeo in the pan. We also played a little chopsticks game racing to fill small bowls with peanuts and learned to make tomato roses and pepper flowers. We ate as we went along. It was great!

5.00We had such a great time at Jolie Danang Cooking Class! It’s not just about cooking, you really get to experience local life. We visited the big local market, learned about Vietnamese ingredients, and then cooked delicious traditional dishes. Our guide Rosie was amazing, friendly, funny, and explained everything so well. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Da Nang and a must-do for anyone who loves food and culture!
