Just north of Palm Springs lies one of nature's majestic creations, Joshua Tree National Park. In the comfort of an enclosed, climate-controlled vehicle your guide will take you on an extensive all paved road tour through the stunning rock formations and otherworldly landscape of the Mojave Desert.
This activity has a 2 person requirement for the tour to run. If you are a single rider, please call first.
NOTICE: EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2025 ALL JOSHUA TREE TOURS WILL REQUIRE GUESTS TO PAY THEIR OWN $15 ENTRY FEE UPON ENTERING THE PARK. ENTRY FEES WILL NO LONGER BE INCLUDED IN THE BIG WHEEL TOURS PRICING. PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH A FORM OF PAYMENT (CREDIT CARD) TO ACCOMMODATE THIS NEW POLICY. THANK YOU!

5.00Tour was great fun and educational. Sarah was a terrific guide-very knowledgeable, entertaining and caring. She planned the perfect itinerary for our group with just the right amount of hiking and sightseeing, and made the experience much more interesting than we ever could have done on our own with her knowledge of the history, ecology and geography of the area. She also made sure we were safe every step of the way (literally). Plus, she was just plain fun and a pleasure to be around.

5.00I cannot stress how satisfied with the tour. Ron was our tour guide and we found him to be extremely knowledgeable about Joshua Tree as well as the Palm Springs valley. He was friendly and answered all questions we had. We would go again and would request Ron as our guide as well as recommend the tour and Ron to our friends!

5.00We were very pleased with Jeff, our driver. We introduced ourselves and he remembered our names throughout our adventure. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable of the park. He welcomed questions. He would often stop at interesting spots to take our picture. Totally worth it to take this tour. Highly recommend it. We are very happy we did.

5.00The park was unlike anything we have ever seen! Kolin was extremely knowledgeable and gave us so much information and anecdotes both along the route and in the park. He certainly loves to educate and he clearly appreciates the environment of the entire area. He went a ove and beyond!

The whole tour through Joshua Tree and the surrounding areas was amazing and we will definitely come back and revisit. We have been on other tours with other groups and this was by far the best we have been on.

She was excited to share her knowledge of the park's flora, fauna, and history with us. Having a friendly and engaging guide - with a sense of humor - made the tour even more enjoyable. The tour was tailored by our guide to our needs and interest - Sara chose the best views and areas of interest. The vehicle was clean, comfortable and well suited to the park terrain.

5.00We did the Joshua tree tour with guide Sarah Wedner. Sara is an incredible guide. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly loves her job. It was our first time to visit Joshua tree, and Sara made sure we saw all the high spots And learned so much. She moved at a very comfortable pace and also was happy to take pictures with us at some special places..
