Our tour takes 9 hours in total. We spend approximately 7 and half hours at the specified locations. The remaining time is spent traveling by minibus.

What To Expect
Avusor Golu Buzul Gol
We pick up our guests staying around Ayder Plateau and Çamlıhemşin from their hotel at 09:00 and start the Avusor Glacier Hiking Tour. After approximately 1 hour of driving, we reach Avusor Plateau. Hiking starts from Avusor Plateau, which has an altitude of 2,350 meters. After about 1 and a half hours of hiking, depending on our walking pace, we reach Avusor Glacial Lake (2.700m). After reaching the lake, we will have 2 hours of free time. During our free time, we will eat the food we brought with us for lunch and enjoy the glacial lake. Depending on the weather conditions, you can swim in the Glacier Lake and have the opportunity to refresh yourself.
Huser YaylasI
When our free time ends at Avusor Glacial Lake, we set out on our way back. Our walk ends at Avusor Plateau. After approximately 40 minutes of driving, we arrive at Huser Plateau to watch the sunset. After the sun sets in Huser, we transfer our guests to the hotel where they are staying and end the program.

5.00We had booked a private tour in the Kaçkar mountains with Hasan as our guide. We were led to many beautiful sites and thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Hasan is not only an expert and approachable tour guide, speaks English well, but thanks to his roots in the area could also connect us with local people. In particular we enjoyed the tasty lunch in Hazindak Yalasi. Hasan was able to tailor our tour to our interests and hiking expertise. The area is well worth visiting.

5.00He's a real local with 20-year experiences roaming around the trail like his childhood playground. He's friendly and fluently communicate with us in English. He also didn't talk much, which is perfect for some people doing the hike for their meditation and focus on the surroundings. Recommend!!!

5.00We had an amazing day in the mountains with our guide, Hassan. He was super friendly, spoke excellent English, and made our whole family feel completely at ease. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, and shared so much insight along the way. He even brought tea for us, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. One of the best guides we’ve come across—highly recommended. At the end of the walk, he invited us into his family home where we had fresh, hot cow’s milk straight from their cows—it was absolutely incredible.

He helped me make important decisions on my route and was also a kind friend to me during my time in Ayder. Highly recommend anyone to meet him and learn from him.

5.00Our family of two adults and two children (10 & 12) went on a private tour with Hasan to the Avusor Plateau to walk to the glacier lake, followed by the Huser Plateau for sunset. We booked directly with them. It was an awesome day. We had a rental car, but the roads to these plateaus are horrible, so it's not advisable to use your own, so he drove us around in his 4x4. First, Hasan is an amazing person and guide. Punctual, friendly, courteous and professional. He knows the area like the back of his hand as he grew up there. His English was also excellent. As for the trip itself, the glacier lake was beautiful. It was also great for a refreshing dip. It was an easy and pleasant hike up. Then Huser Plateau is also absolutely gorgeous, once the clouds clear up. We kept our fingers crossed all day for the weather to open up as it had been overcast and rainy earlier, but we got really lucky and we got to see a beautiful rainbow and sunset. All in all, we couldn't recommend Hasan and the itinerary more! Thank you for an amazing day!
