Communication with the guide was excellent. Everything was exactly as planned and we felt very comfortable. Experienced one adventure after another and were well looked after.

I took part in two different treks by Swotah Travel. They were absolutely excellent in every way. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Ajay and the team were happy to adapt the treks to suit my individual itinerary. The airport pickup made the journey into Kathmandu stress free and the hotel we stayed in for the first night was lovely. The first trek I took part in - the millennium homestay trek was an amazing way to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture. I really felt in the middle of nowhere in the best way. This trek is very easy going and the food that you eat along the way is phenomenal. I didn’t want it to end! All of the homestay families are very friendly and make you feel incredibly welcome. I loved the cultural activities too - the shaman visit was fascinating and the dance night was fun (though be warned, you will be dancing). We visited a cave called millennium cave which was stunning, there were crabs and bats within the cave and a huge waterfall. The porters and guide - Kumar were great. Kumar was very friendly and an excellent guide, he was informative and funny. I also booked this trek as a solo traveller and Swotah organised for me to join a group of other tourists from Malaysia. I loved trekking with the group and felt really welcomed by everyone. I wholeheartedly recommend Swotah Travel for anyone who wants to holiday in Nepal. They really have something for everyone. I found that the two treks I did were different in the best ways and I felt that I got to experience both the cultural elements of Nepal and achieve an athletic goal. All communications with Swotah were concise and clear. They always got back to me incredibly quickly.

Millennium trek is an amazing hike in Nepal! The home stay in Kolma was my favorite part! An excellent way to see beautiful areas of Nepal and interact with people from a varieties of ethnic groups. The hosting families are warm welcoming and this experience allowed me to really experience and witness local culture.

Going on tour with Kurma is a real experience, with a lot of humor and joie de vivre he conveys much of Nepalese nature to the people and their culture. As a tour guide, we can highly recommend Kurma. Elke and Louis

We experienced so many things on this low-altitude trek it’s hard to choose a highlight. We loved homestays in villages that we otherwise couldn’t have visited, and appreciated home-cooked meals. After our first day of hiking up, up, up we already had met many people and learned a bit about different communities. Then we saw the Himalayan peaks for the very first time. Later we adventured through rice fields to an underground waterfall that felt sacred, We were well cared for, especially when a group member wasn’t feeling well. Ajay and our wonderful guide Kumar were in constant communication, adjusting the schedule and accommodations. As a result, we had an unplanned recovery day that we spent “visiting” meeting village elders, receiving blessings and having authentic conversations, facilitated by Kumar, that were deeply meaningful. Kumar is a delightful guide and Ajay is a true professional who went above and beyond to arrange details before and after our trek. Both are excellent communicators. They were highly responsive and made our travel worry-free and memorable. Deepest gratitude!

The Millenium Homestay Trek was simply AMAZING! Truly the best way to experience the beauty of Nepal's otherworldly landscapes up close in person. Homestays in the villages enabled us to meet local people and learn about their unique and beautiful culture. The home cooked meals were delicious and gave us strength for the journey. Ajay and his team handled all details -including flights, hotels and extra adventures around the Trek. He stayed in touch through out and made sure everything was going well. Excellent customer service -and really nice guy! PJ Neely Atlanta, GA USA

My experience at the Millennium Homestay Trek was amazing. We hiked to these colorful villages with my partner last week. It was really worth visiting, and it was precisely what we were expecting from this off-the-beaten trail. Local lifestyle and untouched beauty of the hills. This trek is a must for those who can't do high-altitude treks in the Himalayas. We simply loved it. We highly recommend taking Kumar as a guide for this hike, as he is certainly the best in the business. Funny one. Never seen such friendly people on any other trail. Ajay went above and beyond to ensure we were doing fine, and he managed it well. Really recommend this trek to all, and Swotah Travel is really professional. We would go with them again if we were to visit Nepal again.
