We were worried that going to Kakadu for just a day would feel rushed but this day trip was anything but! Make sure you wear walking shoes as the hike at Ubirr rock is a bit of a climb but the view is well worth it! The tour guide was super knowledgeable about the artworks and area. He was very helpful and made sure that everyone could experience as much as possible no matter their fitness level.

We just completed the Kakadu Wildlife and Ubirr Rock Art one day tour, including the optional wetlands cruise, led by our fantastic guide, Leigh. His commentary throughout the day was both educational and entertaining, delivered with a true Aussie larrikin charm that kept us engaged from start to finish. I particularly enjoyed learning about the lifecycle of the Barramundi and the fascinating stories behind the Ubirr rock art. The highlights of the day were witnessing the crocodile filled Cahill’s Crossing and taking in the breathtaking views from the top of Ubirr. Even when our booked crocodile jumping tour was cancelled (through no fault of the tour company), Leigh handled the situation professionally, quickly coordinating with the operator to ensure same day refunds, which we really appreciated. The wetlands tour we did instead turned out to be a great experience, rich with birdlife and other wildlife. We would absolutely recommend this tour company, well organised, informative, and full of unforgettable moments.
