  We were a small group of 7 people, 2 families. For me and my family it was the first time we tried kayaking and it was great! The guide was super chill and helped whenever he could, no hand holding though so we could freely choose a path between obstacles. At the second leg it was the open river going towards the sea. It was great! It can get exhausting and rain may come out of nowhere (we got drenched) so dress accordingly and keep a change of clothes with you just in case!

  I joined Bulteam Adventures for hiking and kayaking and it was honestly one of the best experiences I’ve had outdoors. The places we visited were beautiful and the whole trip felt both relaxing and exciting at the same time. What really makes the difference though is the guide, Dodo. He knows the trails and the river so well, makes everyone feel safe, and somehow manages to keep the group motivated and laughing the whole way. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy is contagious. If you want a real adventure in nature with someone you can completely trust, I’d definitely recommend going with Bulteam and Dodo.

  No experience....fancy...despite availability .. The booking process was not optimal.... I want to book and pay... need code....I don't know where...contact hotline....were trying... but couldn't arrange hotel pickup like on the Website... write back and forth and then paid and later received a,rejection from guide...anticipation and 1 hour for NOTHING

  Super experience with the 2-person kayak in a beautiful and varied river landscape. The tour leads through calm waters first upstream and then to the sea, where there is the opportunity to jump into the waves after about 10 km of paddling. Our guide initially explained everything in English and Bulgarian, so even beginners had a good start and no problems. He was sympathetic, super friendly and responded well to the wishes of the group, e.g. regarding daily planning, lunch, etc. The kayak tour is highly recommended and was a great highlight of our holiday.

  We have never done kajking before but always want to try. So when we saw this tour here on TripAdvisor, we don't hesitate. Doncho has picked us up near our hotel in Varna early in the morning and we went to Kamchia river. The whole group was up to 10 people. We get instructions and small training on the shore. It was in English and Bulgarian languages and neither my English is not so good, I understand what I need to do and what I needn't :) If I don't understand smth or wasn't sure I do it well, Doncho show it for me - all the time we felt his good will and support. After short training we get safety jackets and go to the river. The boat is large enough for two persons and I fill very safety inside it, it was very important for me. The river is very calm so it wasn't very difficult to kajak on it, but on the other side it wasn't very easy and you need to work (co-work :)) a little bit - so we could do some exercises and see the beauty of the river at the same time. I really like it! Before the end of our trip we also kajaked to the beach and have some time for refreshing at the sea, it was amazing :) So I definitely recommend this tour for those who is looking for the active relax. Doncho, thank you very much for this experience, perfect organization and amazing support during the trip 😍 To gain even greater experiences I recommend to get with you water, swimming suite (on you), hat, sun cream and repellent (I haven't noticed any mosquitoes during our kajaking, but it depends on the season and the weather). And also you should have to count with possibility of being wet a little bit, as you can shower yourself with the paddle :) The only one not good experience for us was communication through TripAdvisor - we need to call to organizators to be sure they know about us, because we don't get any information from theym before that about pick up point and so on. Be sure that after your reservation you get information from them, not only automatically generated e-mails. Toto byl jeden z nejlepších zážitků z naší cesty do Bulharska v tomto roce. My jsme nikdy nezkoušeli kajking před tím, ale vždycky jsme chtěli. Proto jak jsme to viděli tady, neváhali jsme a nelitovali toho ani minutu. Doncho nás vyzvedl u našeho hotelu ve Varně a dovezl rovnou k řece Kamchia. Instruktáž probíhala v angličtině a bulharstině, a i když moje angličtina není perfektní, rozuměla jsem tomu, co a jak mám dělat nebo naopak nemám :) Pokud jsem si nebyla s něčím jistá, Doncho mi vždycky poradil a kontroloval, že pádlo držím správně :) Po krátkém zaškolení jsme si šli k řece a vlezli do lodi, která byla dost velká pro dva a cítila jsem se v ní bezpečně, což bylo pro mne docela důležité. Kamchia je dost klidná řeka a nebyl problém po ní plout, ale na druhou stranu se musí i trochu pracovat, což se nám moc líbilo, že si můžeme zacvičit a zároveň kochat nádherným okolím. Před samým koncem naší plavby jsme dorazili k pláži a mohli se osvěžit v moři, to bylo úžasné :) Určitě toto doporučuji pro všechny, kdo má rád aktivní odpočinek 👍 Doporučuji si obléct plavky pod oblečení, případně pak kayakovat v plavkách a tričku - existuje pravděpodobnost, že se během toho namočite :) Samozřejmě mít s sebou vodu, ochránní krém a pokrývku na hlavu, případně sáček pro osobní věci pokud je budete chtít vzít s sebou do lodi.

  The tour was beautiful and safe, our tour guide was very patient and helpful. We had about 3 hours on the river. Definitely recommended! 😊
