The kanuku mountains is one of the least explored places on the surface of the planet. This isolated mountain chain raises out of the Rupununi Savannah and is a place full of myths and amazing experiences.
The trek to one of the highest peaks offers an amazing opportunity to gaze over one of South Americas last undisturbed wetlands and the challenge of reaching the top is both tough and rewarding.
One thing is sure, you will not regret spending a few days experiencing this amazing place.

We saw so much wildlife— birds, spider monkeys, caiman, anaconda, poisonous dart frogs, and so much more!! Anders, Lionel, and the other Makushi are top class bushmasters and guides. This is my second adventure trip to Guyana and I know I will be back again. Truly a hidden gem.

This was an amazing experience ! Anders is a very knowledgeable guide, takes care of his guests, and is generally very fun to hang out with. The local guides (Lionel, Damian and Paul) were very inspiring people, who know the jungle better than anyone else and will make sure everyone's safe while having a good time. The part of the rainforest we saw was incredible, we managed to see anacondas, caimans, spider monkeys and tons of other animals we wouldn't have seen anywhere else. I definetly recommend it, it's a great experience !
