5.00In anticipation of participating at the August 2025 Itosu-Ryu international tournament in Chiba Japan we wanted to visit Okinawa and if possible pay our respects to our styles founder Itosu Anko and Higaonna Kanryo grave sites. We reached out to Ageshio Japan Co. to request the Karate history tour along with a few special request visits to the graves and memorials. We were so surprised and impressed by the tour and being treated to a VIP itineary with Ueda sensei !! ( who may be my distant relative). We spent a day touring and an evening with Kenny, were introduced to local sensei and some of his team including Takahiro and a special karaoke. We hope to return visit and visit again, which we hope will include some dojo training with Ueda sensei. I would recommend Ageshio Japan to any Karateka planning to visit the birth place of Karate. Thank you again Ueda sensei for making our visit personalized and special.

5.00We traveled all the way from Cuba and the United States to learn more about the karate history. Our coordinator Atsuko and our tour guide Filipino did an amazing job and we had a great experience. I would definitely recommend this experience to all the karate enthusiasts.

5.00The tour is just great, so intense in history and Carlo did a fantastic job, showing masters graves, recalling past events and the visit of the Okinawa karate Kaikan is really rich in informations of all kind: pictures, books, video, material for training etc.

5.00Highly, highly recommend this tour for karate enthusiasts.....Carlo was amazing....took us to Karate Museum, visited the training studio of a black belt 10th degree master (a highlight!!!!) , shrines of great past masters, excellent sushi lunch, beautiful scenic views of Okinawa, tour of Naha and even souvenir shopping......excellent for individuals, couples or entire family....a must see when you are in Okinawa .

5.00The tour was INCREDIBLE!!! Carlo went above and beyond to accommodate me. He made my trip to Okinawa fantastic!! I learned so much about the birthplace of Karate and saw so many incredible places and memorabilia. What a wonderful experience, mostly thanks to Carlo. You can tell he really cares about people and will do everything possible to make sure you have the most incredible experience. One of the best tours I’ve taken in my life and by far the best tour guide I’ve ever had up until now. Thank you again Carlo, I really appreciate what you did for me!!

5.00Okinawa is the origin to establish KARATE culture and sports in the world. Karate Kaikan is very good facility to know overall of Okinawa Karate. You must visit once at least even though you are not interested in Karate because you could recognize how Karate is important culture for Okinawa. Also, Okinawa Craft Promotion Center just located to the next is very good place to know Okinawan Crafts and Arts Products. Not only to see, but you can also buy something good souvenirs in the shop.
