Our guide Raj ensure our experience is pleasant! He even gives us banana during breaks while going up the mountain and gives us fruits every dinner! It is really highly appreciated and it touched us. The experience was also smooth where we are picked up from our hotel and dropped off also on our hotel at the end of the hike! Everything that is stated in the inclusion is surely there and when in doubt can confirm with Raj or Rameshwar from Cordial Trek. I highly recommend their agency and they also provide certification of your climb in ABC!

An incredible trek to Annapurna base with with Raj and Arjun as my guides. The guides were extremely professional and made my experience hiking to Annapurna that much more amazing, they feel more like friends to me than guides. Every little detail with the trip was absolutely perfect. I would definitely book cordial again for my future Everest base camp trek. I can’t recommend cordial enough! Thank you for one of the greatest life experiences I’ve ever had.

We did a 5-day ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) trek in mid-April. We booked it just two days before the start, as we couldn’t decide whether to go on our own or with a group. In the end, we definitely recommend going with a group—especially if it’s your first time. Our guide was Raj Tamang, and the assistant was Sagar Tamang. Right after booking, we were contacted via WhatsApp. They provided all the necessary information, shared the guide’s contact details, answered all our questions, and requested passport photos for the permits. The organization was excellent, and we really appreciated how smoothly everything was handled. The guide and assistant were outstanding—very experienced, attentive, and genuinely caring. None of our questions went unanswered. They were always available, supportive, and kept us informed throughout the trek. When some of us felt unwell, they did everything they could to help, which we are very grateful for. Honestly, they are wonderful people. We were very lucky to have such experienced people guiding us—many thanks to them. According to this itinerary, you reach Annapurna Base Camp at the end of day 3. On day 4, you watch the sunrise and then begin the descent. In fact, day 4 was probably the most challenging—we had to cover around 20 km, the longest distance, and we moved at a fairly fast pace to stay on schedule. However, a good meal and a hot shower at the end can be a well-earned reward. Perhaps this long day could be split between days 4 and 5. On the final day, you walk for about 4–5 hours, have lunch, and then either return to Pokhara or optionally visit hot springs for 1.5–2 hours. This depends on the group, as some people may not want or have time for it. A very important note about health: reaching an altitude of 4,130 meters in just three days is quite fast. If you have the time, consider a 7-day itinerary—it will be easier on your body. In our group of nine people, four experienced discomfort due to altitude. I personally had the hardest time—I took six tablets over two days, which helped but did not fully relieve the symptoms. Only descending made a real difference; once we reached the overnight stop on day 4 at 2,340 meters, I felt significantly better. So make sure to bring medication: painkillers and something for stomach issues/indigestion/food poisoning, just in case (only one person in our group had stomach problems, but it’s better to be prepared). About water: bottled water is not available. You can refill your bottle with boiled water (most of us chose this option), which costs around 100–250 NPR per liter. Alternatively, you can use untreated water and purification tablets—some people did that, but make sure to bring enough tablets (many ended up asking the guide). Expect to drink about 2–4 liters per person per day. Food is simple: from the second day onward there is no meat available, but there are plenty of options such as local dishes, sandwiches, pizza, and toast—you won’t go hungry. Many people brought snacks like nuts and energy bars; in our case, we didn’t even finish them. At night, the rooms can be quite cold. Warm socks, a hat, gloves, and possibly thermal underwear are highly recommended. I slept wearing all of these and used two blankets, though some people had sleeping bags and seemed more comfortable. Accommodation is very basic everywhere—there are simply no other options. If you are traveling as a pair, you might get a private room on the first and last nights, but during the trek you will likely share rooms with other group members. At the highest point, there are no showers, so don’t forget wet wipes. Regarding difficulty level: I would say this trek is more suitable for beginners or for those trying high mountains for the first time. In our group, all nine participants were new to high-altitude trekking in Nepal. The pace was generally relaxed (only on day 4 did we move faster, as we were descending). Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it. The mountains are absolutely worth seeing.

I highly recommend this company and my guide Raju for organising this trip to Annapurna Base Camp for my friend and I. We had a crowd of three people (excluding guide and porter service), over a total course of 5 days. Raju especially brought a fun and lively atmosphere, and also had a talent for encouraging and inspiring deep connections with others. He had great experience as a guide for this trek and understood everyone’s strengths and limits. During this trek, I fell ill partway and found I could not complete the remaining; Raju demonstrated exceptional problem solving and emotional intelligence in finding solutions and empathising. He achieved an enjoyable experience for everyone in the team, including me, regardless of my circumstance - for which I am grateful. I am also grateful for the work of the Porter; Babu was very sweet and hardworking. Beautiful views, and a feeling of truly immersing into Himalayan culture, people and sights.

As the caption implies, this is once a lifetime experience but not for the faint hearted. Th e view is awesome! Snow cap Mountain View is the hard earned reward. But do manage your expectation. The weather can be wet and eccentric. We had 3 out of 5 days of trekking in the rain and snowed on our night at ABC camp site. The view is spectacular but because the tea houses are very basic so do manage your expectations. Fortunately we do have Bikesh as our guide and Karma as our porter who maes the trip more palatable. They keep a look out for our safety, meals and hot showers. Kudos to the for doing such a great job.

At the age of 66 years old and a already a grandmother, I enjoyed fullfilment of my long waited wish to summit Annapurna Base Camp. Gopal Puri who was the agent/lead guide with Himalayan Infinity Adventure Company provided full commitment and support to all six members in my group and ensured we successfully reached the peak of ABC. The hospitality by Gopal and his Assistant Guide, Keshap was very comforting during the challenges we faced in our endervour. I want to personally thank Gopal and his team for their professionalism in ensuring my dream come true. Finally, I recommend to anyone who wish to conquer ABC, to reach out to Gopal Puri and his company for a pleasant hiking trip to ABC.
