At the age of 66 years old and a already a grandmother, I enjoyed fullfilment of my long waited wish to summit Annapurna Base Camp. Gopal Puri who was the agent/lead guide with Himalayan Infinity Adventure Company provided full commitment and support to all six members in my group and ensured we successfully reached the peak of ABC. The hospitality by Gopal and his Assistant Guide, Keshap was very comforting during the challenges we faced in our endervour. I want to personally thank Gopal and his team for their professionalism in ensuring my dream come true. Finally, I recommend to anyone who wish to conquer ABC, to reach out to Gopal Puri and his company for a pleasant hiking trip to ABC.

My experience in this trek was amazing! We seen a lot of beautiful villages and of course amazing view to the mountains. My guide (Prakash Neupane) was one of the best that I have ever had. The same and for my porter (Naryan Thapa). They take care of us all the time and give us many informations about the nature, the villages and of course about the beautiful mountains! Thank you for everything 🙏🏻 It was one of the best experience in my life!

An unforgettable experience! Having Prakash as a guide for Annapurna Base Camp is one of the best decisions of this trip. From day one, his good humour and professionalism put the whole group at ease. His knowledge of the terrain is impressive: trails, villages, viewpoints... he generously shares Nepalese history and culture at every step. His attention to the well-being of the group is remarkable: he adapts the pace, anticipates needs and always knows when to encourage or let go — at altitude, it is valuable. His English is excellent, his anecdotes exciting, and his smile as constant as the snowy peaks! Coming to the ABC with Prakash by our side to celebrate this moment will remain with me. An exceptional guide, which I warmly recommend to all. Prakash, you’re the best! 🙏🏔️

My 5 day ABC trek with Raj from Cordial Trek was the absolute highlight of my 4 week trip to India and Nepal! I only had 6 days before I had to go back to Australia and this was the perfect opportunity. I was a little bit nervous about the difficulty and carrying my own pack but it was completely fine (and you can hire a porter to carry your pack for you). From pick up to drop off, everything worked smoothly with no issues at all. Every night, our group of 3 would debrief on the day with Raj after dinner before discussing the next day. Raj was genuinely available 24/7 to help with any issues, queries or concerns and was super knowledgeable about the area and other treks, having over 10 years of experience! He was flexible for us to start walking when we wanted and with our breaks. I would recommend the basic plan and then paying for your own food in the tea houses as it’s all very cheap. I would recommend this trek to anyone looking for an intro to Nepal trekking!

I did the 5 day ABC trek from Pokhara. Here is an objective review of my experience. The trek itself was challenging doing it over 5 days so be sure you are physically fit or hire a porter so you dont need to carry everything yourself and make it easier. We were only 3 in the group and a guide. In march it rained every day a little bit and it was also snowing on higher elevation so bring a backpack raincover and/or a rain poncho. At the base camp it was very cold especially in the evening, thermo underlayer with sweatshirts and puffer jacket was needed, I also recommend warm gloves, thick socks. There were always teahouses along the route within 1-2 hours where you can fill water bottle (tap water with chlorid tablets for free or they also have filtered water to purchase), and have lunch or buy whatever you need. The food was surprisingly good in every tea houses; the menu and price is set by the government, it does get increasingly more expensive the higher up you go. About Cordial Trek, we had a great experience, the pick up from Pokhara was swift and we were quickly on our way to Jhinu, our starting point of the trek. Our tour guide Raj Tamang was a very friendly person who I cannot praise enough, he was fully supportive throughout our journey and was very helpful answering all our questions and telling stories about Nepal and the local area, getting us extra blankets for the cold nights, and did not show even the slightlest annoyance of our constant requests to make photos of us when asked which was highly appreciated! The company provided trekking poles (much needed!) and sleeping bags (which we left it at the first teahouse to save weight). Everything was well organised from our first day pick up to our drop off on our 5th day in Pokhara. Overall I had a great experience, enjoyed the hike and the challenge, the views were fantastic, the mountains are gorgeous, people are friendly, guide Raj is superb, Nepal is amazing!

I wanted to do the ABC trek and was searching for the right agency when I came across Cordial Trek. Since I had no prior trekking experience, completing the trek in 5 days seemed quite challenging for me. I chose Cordial Trek after reading many favourable reviews, and I’m really glad I did. My guide, Mr. Pratip, was incredibly patient and supportive throughout the journey. He guided and motivated me every step of the way, and I truly believe I would not have been able to complete the trek without his encouragement. He constantly made sure I was comfortable and having a good experience. A special thanks to Mr. Narayan, my porter, who carried my belongings and still managed to reach ahead of me each time. His dedication and strength were truly admirable. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. Everything was well organised even before I arrived, and the entire trek was handled very smoothly. Thank you to the Cordial Trek team for making this journey so memorable.

Wonderful experience doing our five-day ABC trek. We weren’t sure whether to hire a guide for the trip but our guide, Prakash made the experience even better. He organised everything for us and made sure we always feel comfortable. Also, he was great in leading the hike, and ensuring we were safe at all times. If you are looking to make your journey more enjoyable, hire a guide (in our case Prakash ). It was the best decision. If we come back, we would definitely hire him again.

Our 5-day ABC trek with Oham was just terrific! He was so kind and fun to b around, and he kept the stoke high even on the longer and more challenging days, with local stories and songs, and answers to many questions I had about the local flora and fauna. The trek was well organized and logistics seamless, I felt well-prepared with all the information I needed going in! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing trek with our guide Om! He prepared everything really well which included lending us some equipment via the tour company, planning our daily treks well and keeping us updated on plans and timing, as well as being flexible in adjusting to the weather conditions and our energy levels. He was great in encouraging us to go slowly and pace ourselves during the trek which is really important on a long journey. Everyone in our group successfully reached the Annapurna base camp on day 3 of the trek as planned and Om was really helpful monitoring our oxygen levels in the high altitude. I really enjoyed the experience! You pass a lot of different gorgeous scenery during the 5 days of the trip and I also really liked all the tea houses we stopped in during the trek or stayed at overnight. For this hike it was three of us plus our guide Om on the trip which I felt worked really well to make sure everyone could take things at their own pace. The tour company are very flexible arranging treks to suits your dates and group size so you could go solo, join an existing group, or just book a trek for you and your friends. There is an option to fly in to Pokhara from Kathmandu via the tour company but we chose to directly start from Pokhara which worked too so check the options and chat to the tour company to see what works best for you. Our group chose to not have a porter join us which works if you bring a small bag but even small bags get heavy at higher altitudes so having a porter could make things more comfortable. I highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for adventure, gorgeous views and a once in a lifetime experience!
