What To Expect
Experience Japan’s kawaii food culture in this character bento cooking class in Shinjuku, Tokyo. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of Japanese home cooking while creating your own cute and photogenic character bento from scratch. Character bento, known as “kyaraben,” is a unique part of Japanese culture where rice and ingredients are arranged to resemble cute animals or characters inspired by anime and pop culture. During the class, you will prepare classic dishes such as tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelet) and karaage (Japanese fried chicken), then design and decorate your own original bento. 5.00I went with 4 friends of mommy‼️My son is now in high school and makes bento every day, so I thought I could use it as a reference!!️The teacher was very polite and easy to understand!️I learned a lot from the various ideas for cute lunch boxes. It is not possible every day :) I hope I can make a cute lunch box!️

5.00Japan's cute bento is very famous in Europe, and this time I did a Kyaraben challenge with my husband from Austria 🥰 Aya-san and Aya-san were very kind and explained in English, so my husband enjoyed participating in the activity. You can take home your packed lunch, so you can picnic in the nearby park 🧺 I made a pink bear and my husband made a yellow bear lunch box, and each one was unique and interesting 🐻 Thank you for the wonderful experience!

5.00I had an interesting experience, so I joined! I don't think there are many opportunities to be taught lunch boxes. You can't make a cute bento unless you do your own research, so it's worth a visit! I was happy to cook lunches together in the space at the same time while learning a lot of knowledge! ☺️ We exchanged the finished lunch 🍱 It was fun 😍
