Go early to avoid heat. There was nobody else out there. We were the only ones on the river. It was peaceful and beautiful. The young guide who sent us out and picked us was so friendly and funny. He gave us a history lesson about the area and the cactus! Loved it! Considering going back for a sunset paddle.

I was nervous at first, but once my 5th grader and I got on the water, it turned into pure excitement. We even saw wild horses splashing around—it was magical. Grateful for this unforgettable memory with my son!

I arrived with a lot of fear due to not swimming and it ended up being a fantastic experience. It's really nothing dangerous as long as you follow the directions of the staff and watch the preview video. The walk is quite relaxing, the views beautiful and the little rapids very fun.
