What To Expect
Your driver will meet you in the morning at your hotel or chosen pick-up address, and you will depart from Tbilisi toward the majestic Great Caucasus Mountains. After approximately 90 minutes, you will arrive at Jinvali Dam, an impressive artificial reservoir on the Aragvi River. This location is ideal for capturing memorable landscape photos, with breathtaking views of the dam, turquoise waters, and the surrounding mountains.
Ananuri fortress complex
Our next stop, just 15 minutes away, is Ananuri Castle, one of Georgia’s most popular places. It’s a 16th-century fortress with two churches and a citadel where the dukes of Aragvi lived. The complex also has a watchtower from the 14th century, older than the main fortress, used to watch for enemies. The fortress is on the shores of the Jinvali Reservoir, famous for its bright turquoise water, and surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains, making it a very picturesque place to explore.

5.00Its was long day. Full of driving till the border of Russia and Georgia. The road is amazing with its views. I had several stops each for approximately 30 minutes. Driver was professional , there were lots of trucks on the way. As driver said it’s a traiding road.

5.00This is the tour which you should not skip if you will visit Georgia during winter time, i have never seen such beautiful places in my life , train road was amazing kukushka as local are calling the train was going very slowly through the magical forest. Just stand at the back or middle of train and you will never forget the amazing experience.. After 90 minutes you will arrive to Bakuriani , one more georgia ski resort but total different from gudauri , here nature is different more trees 🌲 and more activities for kids.
