Had a great visit to a very unusual museum with a great guide named Paul. Fun and interesting but Paul definitely made it extra special. There were six of us from 16 years to 78 years old. We were all quite pleased with taking a chance and visiting this place while visiting the Beaufort area.

PAUL IS AN AMAZING GUIDE! I went with my boyfriend as we found out about the kazoo factory from bible study the night prior and we had a blast (Literally. We bought a train whistle). At the end of your tour you also get to create your own kazoo! Highly recommend if you have a good 1 1/2 hours chunk of time to kill -- Beth&Noah

We had a delightful time! Paul was very entertaining and knowledgeable! My teenager looked at me questioningly (ha ha) at the start of the presentation—but was smiling and humming into her kazoo by the end. A fun time was had by all!

What a cool place. My husband had never heard of a Kazoo so this made it an even better experience. The tour was great as we saw how the Kazoo was assembled and learned of all the different types of kazoos (way more than I thought). The only thing that I would have liked to see is how the actual body of the kazoo is made. This was not part of the tour. Overall, a great experience.

A total joy, made even better by the fact that we had if any expectations at all pretty low ones. Paul the tour guide was fabulous: warm, witty, deeply informative and enthusiastic. Who knew that the kazoo had such a rich history? Lovely staff working with merry diligence. And what a gift shop! This Christmas: kazoos for all!

While visiting friends in Hilton Head I was lucky enough to hear about the Kazoo Museum & Factory. We had a humdinger of a time! Megan was our guide, she was extremely knowledgeable, funny and enthusiastic. I am a longtime kazoo aficionado and was thrilled to learn so many interesting kazoo facts! Loved seeing the injection molding machines and listening to many kazoo accoutrements and various other instruments. Megan was kind enough to take several pictures of us playing our hearts out with our spiffy new Kazoos we made in front of a huge US flag made entirely of Kazoos. The entire staff of the kazoo museum and the neighboring custom T-shirt place (also really neat) were wonderfully welcoming and pleasant. How could a kazoo factory be anything but a joyful place. HIGHLY recommended.

Paul, our totally lovely, earnest, funny and enthusiastic tour guide, made kazoo history a surprising delight. This is not a throw-away stop; it’s a legit museum and active factory with a fabulous gift shop. Do not overlook!

First off, who knew that there was a museum dedicated to the wonderful kazoo? Price of the tour/museum was reasonable and we stayed almost 2 hours. Our guide was Paul, and he is a great ambassador for all things kazoo! He provided information on the history of the kazoo, had multiple examples of various kazoos and other mirliton instruments. I was pleasantly surprised that they had examples of other USA made kazoos and even sold them in their small (but well stocked) gift store. The factory tour as informative and we were able to complete a kazoo assembly prior to visiting the small museum area. I would say that all of the staff embrace the humor and fun of kazoos - it was infectious!
