Had a great experience. Our driver guide was Berry. He contacted us the day before and gave clear meeting instructions. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great for the Geopark so Berry adapted our itinerary and took us into the city instead where it was dry. He was very informative and also attentive to our needs and interests. We packed so much in and were still back at the Ship in plenty of time. A really great day.

We were very lucky to experience a private tour of Keelung with Jeremy – and it was just perfect! He showed us the beauties of his homeland with so much passion and passion that we felt welcome and in good hands from the first minute. We were particularly impressed by how individually he responded to all our wishes. Since we were only two on the road, he was able to tailor the tour completely to us and also show us places we would never have discovered on our own. His friendly, open nature and extensive knowledge have made the experience even more special. Jeremy is not only a great guide, but also a wonderful person who conveys his enthusiasm for Keelung in an authentic way. We can recommend it without restriction – it really doesn’t get any better! Thank you for this unforgettable day!

If a tour with an English-speaking guide is advertised, you cannot send a nice young man who does not speak English at all. The tour otherwise was good.

The tour was absolutely amazing! Jeremy was promote, professional and great driver and guide! He communicated from them time I received my confirmation until we meet him. He provided amazing experience with hidden gem pictures spots sprinkled into the tour. Timing was perfect, no crowds at the tourist attractions and he got us back to the ship in plenty of time! Highly recommend this excursion!

Charles was our driver/guide, and he was excellent. With college experience in the U.S. and a lifetime in Taiwan, he was able to converse in English while providing us with a truly local point of view. He was flexible with the schedule, constantly looking for ways to improve the tour for us, and always bouncing new ideas to us about where to go and what to see. He was also courteous, helpful and a genuine joy to meet and spend two days touring with us.

Berry picked us up as we disembarked our cruise ship and made us feel very welcome and comfortable in his vehicle. On our way to our first stop, the Yehliu Geo Park, he gave us an overview on the history of Taiwan. During the day we visited some wonderful places and thoroughly enjoyed our tour. In addition to the Geo Park, we visited Jiufen Old Street, Shifen including flying Sky Lanterns, Golden Waterfall and the Chung Cheng Park with its amazing Buddhist Temple.v At all times Berry was kind and considerate of our age and specific needs regarding stairs, steep inclines etc. He explained each place we visited and we came away feeling so grateful to him for providing a wonderful tour of the local sites. We have no hesitation in recommending Berry and the tour company he works with. Thanks so much Berry!

I was very disappointed in our communication with Tripadvisor and Phyllis private tours. Trip Advisor described the itinerary as an 8 hr tour visiting four places. Phyllis tours said we would start at 10:30 and only have 6 hours and only see 2 places. We communicated with Justin the driver, and he said that he could start the tour at 9am (not 10:30 as Phyllis said), that we had 8 hours and we could visit 3 sites. We agreed to skip Shifen Old Street. We were back at the ship in 7 hrs, but he said we needed to pay one hour overtime. Because of this miscommunication we ended up paying the extra hour to Phyllis tours instead of giving Justin a great tip which he deserved. I hope Phyllis tours gave him the money, because he deserved it, but the whole fiasco in communication before we reserved the excursion and afterwards left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would not take another tour with Phyllis Tours.

Bruce was truly exceptional from start to finish. He is knowledgeable, detailed, and naturally funny, which made the entire day both informative and relaxed. His expertise about the region was clear in the way he explained the history, geology, and local culture without overwhelming us. He arrived in a pristine, spotless vehicle that was extremely comfortable. What made it unforgettable was the fun atmosphere he created. His car was equipped with two microphones, disco lights, and even a fog machine, so anyone who wanted to sing karaoke could do so. It felt like a private tour and a celebration rolled into one. He was flexible, accommodating, and attentive to our pace throughout the day. We visited Yehliu Geopark, a dramatic coastal headland known for its unique rock formations shaped by wind and sea erosion. Bruce guided us directly to the most iconic formations, including the famous Queen's Head, along with the Dragon Head, Mushroom Rocks, and Candle Rocks. He knew exactly where to stand for the best photos and generously took countless pictures and even created a video for us, which became a special keepsake. He surprised us with freshly grilled Taiwanese sausages, which were absolutely delicious and added a thoughtful local touch to the experience. From there, he took us to a beautiful waterfall where we had time to enjoy the scenery and take more photos before heading to Shifen Old Street. There, we purchased a traditional sky lantern, wrote our dreams and aspirations on it, lit it, and watched it float into the sky. It was a meaningful and memorable moment. Bruce went above and beyond in every way. He blended professionalism, local knowledge, fun, and genuine hospitality into one outstanding experience. I would confidently recommend him to anyone looking for a well organized, engaging, and truly memorable tour.

Enjoyed going to Geo Park, the Old Gold mining town, the large falls, and watching the lanterns launch on the railroad tracks in town during Chinese New Years! Highly recommend this tour and Kevin our guide.
