What To Expect
You will be picked up from your accommodation on a 7seater luxurious mini van and driven to the most unspoiled area of Kefalonia. Your local guide, Julia, is an expert in wine and grape farming, as her family has been farming in the area for generations.

At your first stop, on the slopes of mountain Aenos you will take a walk among ancient old olive trees and grapevines. Learn everything about indigenous varieties and traditional farming practices.

5.00Julia was a wonderful tour guide! She took us around the wine region and explained the details about the growth, care, and harvesting of her family’s vines. We loved hearing about the history of the island, her family’s history making wine and olive oil, and especially tasting the wines and oil! We greatly enjoyed the tour!

5.00Incredible wine experience — if you’re looking for something other than being on the water, make this your trip. It’s extremely personal as Julia picks you up from your accommodation and takes you around her family’s vineyard and olive groves. You can to walk the grounds while seeing and hearing about Julia’s family’s history on the island and history of wine production. We love going to wine tours in different countries and this was unique. You’ll leave learning something and at least having an appreciation for wine on Kefalonia. The highlight was going to Julia’s family’s house and tasting her family’s olive oil for lunch.

5.00What a great and memorable day we had! Communication was very easy before hand, Julia was extremely accommodating with our pick up. She made it a very personal experience and it was very clear just how passionate she is about both hers and the Island's heritage. The wine was amazing, the food was delicious, and we got to see a part of Kefalonia that was off the beaten track. This experience is a must when you visit this beautiful Island, you won't regret it!

5.00Absolutely fantastic wine tour and tasting! Julia is an exceptional tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. We had an amazing time learning about the creation of the local wine and olive oil - from area history, planting, farmers to seeing the traditional machinery and the end products. The delicious local food was certainly an unexpected bonus. Our day ended with the wine tasting in a beautiful winery overlooking the valley. Julia was able to provide factual and entertaining insights into the wine; each one unique and flavoursome. A truly sensational afternoon. Cannot recommend enough.

5.00Absolutely wonderful part of our holiday. Julia was lovely and it felt like we have known her for a long time. It was a very personal tour, just me and my husband. Julia showed us so much of her farming and vineyard life and the wine tasting was perfect. A beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend the tour to everybody.

5.00We had a fantastic wine tour with Julia. It was a truly immersive introduction to Kefalonian wine and olive culture, led by a genuine local guide. It was probably the best wine-tasting experience we’ve ever had—largely thanks to the way Julia led the tour. Julia is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, and she made us feel comfortable throughout. This experience is a must when visiting the island.
