What To Expect

You will be picked up from your accommodation on a 7seater luxurious mini van and driven to the most unspoiled area of Kefalonia. Your local guide, Julia, is an expert in wine and grape farming, as her family has been farming in the area for generations.

Incredible wine experience — if you’re looking for something other than being on the water, make this your trip. It’s extremely personal as Julia picks you up from your accommodation and takes you around her family’s vineyard and olive groves. You can to walk the grounds while seeing and hearing about Julia’s family’s history on the island and history of wine production. We love going to wine tours in different countries and this was unique. You’ll leave learning something and at least having an appreciation for wine on Kefalonia. The highlight was going to Julia’s family’s house and tasting her family’s olive oil for lunch.

Absolutely wonderful part of our holiday. Julia was lovely and it felt like we have known her for a long time. It was a very personal tour, just me and my husband. Julia showed us so much of her farming and vineyard life and the wine tasting was perfect. A beautiful setting. Would definitely recommend the tour to everybody.

Our tour with Julia was truly unforgettable. As the farmer who tends the vines with care, she shared not only her knowledge of grape cultivation but also the deep connection to the land that has been nurtured through her family for generations. Listening to her, you feel the weight of tradition and the pride of experience passed down over time, making the vineyard come alive in a way that goes far beyond a typical visit. Julia’s warmth and authenticity made the experience both personal and profound. While she does not produce the wine herself, her role as caretaker of the grapes is at the very heart of the winemaking journey. I would highly recommend this tour to any traveler seeking an experience rooted in heritage, authenticity, and a true love of the land.
