Wandering the romantic town of Volendam is like finding yourself in the middle of a folkloric film. Nicknamed ‘The Pearl of the Zuiderzee’, this fisherman village was founded all the way back in the 14th century.

5.00The day was great! Beautiful sights and driver/guide Jamal was friendly and knowledgeable. Was able to customize a bit and see a town near Lisse I have recently read about. Reccomended lunch restaurant was so yummy! The best fish and later at an organic farm tried the thickest, freshest chocolate milk i have ever had. Of course the flowers and countryside were beautiful.

5.00We had an absolutely extraordinary day with Younis. He was prompt and the vehicle was clean and spacious. We loved the tulip, daffodil and hyacinth fields. They were breath taking. The gardens were beautiful. Younis never rushed us and gave us instructions on what to hit. The windmills were so fun. You have to make your own hot chocolate. It was so much fun. The dairy farm was very informative and the cheese was delicious. And finally, the fishing village was quaint and it was nice to walk around and grab lunch. I highly recommend this tour

5.00Our tour with Jamal was absolutely amazing. He picked us up promptly as agreed at our hotel and we went first to the Keukenhof Gardens in order to enter the park before the really big crowds would arrive around noon. He stopped at several huge flower fields along our trip both before and after Keukenhof Gardens and even found the perfect field of red tulips, which are my daughter’s favorites. We had complete control over our itinerary, customized it to exactly what we wanted to do, and we spend close to 3 hours at Keukenhof Gardens, marveling at the amazing flowers and we were still able to see a private family run flower farm and went to Zaandam for the clog making demonstration, and the beautiful windmills. Eventhough, we were already running on overtime, he still spend his own time to drive us up to an amazing family run cheese factory and he was so patient with us slow “gift shop shoppers”.,.,.one additional thing I wanted to add here….. I am 100% wheelchair bound and Jamal was incredibly patient and helpful with the many individual times that my wheelchair had to be moved in and out of the trunk of the vehicle and he helped me so many times while I was maneuvering my wheelchair over uneven terrain, little ledges etc… - just wonderful. I felt treated like a celebrity today and was able to forget for a day that I have to just be sit on my family to enjoy the activities, instead I was literally able to participate in eveything with my daughter. We also learned so much from Jamal. He is extremely knowledgeable and clearly loves his country and loves sharing it with people who visit this beautiful part of the world. This tour was the highlight of our trip and we are so grateful for all the added extras, right down to buying a bottle of fresh organic chocolate milk from an organic dairy farm on our way to the cheese farm. We can only highly recommend this tour operator and please be sure to ask for Jamal when booking your trip. This was absolutely an amazing day and we can’t even imagine how this day could have been any better. Thank you Jamal for everything!

5.00Mo was persistent in finding our location. It required extra effort! He accommodated all our requests during the tour and surprised us with an outstanding restaurant for lunch. Kukenhof Gardens is “dreamy beautiful.” we toured the countryside, tulip farms, the windmills Village, a cheese store, and had a very personable and fun tour guy.! Our Day was a 10!
