Along with your experienced guide you will paddle at a relaxing pace and explore the shallow, calm, blue-green waters of the back country of Key West. You will glide through the winding mangrove creeks and paddle through inches of water, where you can easily view and learn about the geological structure of the Keys along with its inhabitants, all from the comfort of your kayak. Your adventure will give you a chance to view the mangrove environment up close, along with its marine life including tropical fish, crabs, sea stars, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponges and various aquatic birds. Every trip leads us on a different adventure! all guests must know how to swim. Rest rooms to change on site. No lockers but things can be left behind at paddle shack. Beginners welcome!

5.00Checked another thing off my bucket list!!! The Mangroves Eco Tour was amazing!!! Our guide. CC, was so informative!! She made it fun too!!!! I was a little worried about being able to “handle” this excursion but it was very chill…we never felt pressured. Thank you Lazy Dog!!! Only disappointed that I forgot to buy myself a tshirt 😉 Can I give this Amy more stars??

4.00We took the afternoon tour which can be pretty scorching on the water with intense sun. Slather up and dress appropriately! The tour was well done, stopping occasionally to see and touch some sea creatures, admire water birds, and kind iguanas and crabs in the mangroves. Paddling is not extensive and done at a leisurely pace. Our guide was friendly , informative and safety conscious. The equipment was in good shape and our group was not too large.

5.00What a great trip we had with our guide Rachel. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable about the marine environment we were touring she also had a real passion for it. You could tell the excitement on her face when she found a certain marine critter. Top notch guide. Highly recommend!!!
