Mariyinski Palace
Mariyinsky Palace is the official ceremonial residence of the President of Ukraine in Kyiv and adjoins the neo-classical building of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. It is a Baroque palace on the hilly bank of the Dnipro River.
Yakov Polyakov Mansion
The mansion of Yakov Polyakov, or the house on 22, Grushevskogo Street, in Kiev is, without a doubt, a real decoration of the street and the whole center of Kiev. It was built in 1910 by Yakov Polyakov, the son-in-law of the sugar king Lev Brodsky, and the manager of the mill on Podil.

Well, we were pleasantly surprised by this tour, because we did not suspect heading to Kiev that it was so beautiful. Our guide Anna was very smart, friendly. We were also lucky to get inside the chocolate house, unfortunately other mansions are closed. If you are tired of Kiev churches, here every second tour offers to visit churches, then go see the mansions. And do it in summer time for sure!

I live for some time in Kiev and the usual sightseeing tour is not interesting to me, so I decided to go along a route that I had not explored before. The Kiev mansions conceal the secrets of those rich people who lived in them, the stories of the Kiev elite of the 19th century are unusual and exciting. I would recommend this tour to women, those who love architecture or those who are not the first time in Kiev. Very beautiful palaces and mansions. You look at Kiev from a different angle.
