Relax after your busy week in the beautiful turquoise water of the Kikuletwa Hot Springs (they are not really that hot but more refreshing)!
Experience the way the locals travel by hopping in a Tuk Tuk and weaving your way through local Maasai villages, Baobab trees and farms to see how people live in the country side.
When we arrive at the hot springs after about 1 - 1.5hrs travel enjoy the tranquility of the water in a quiet space or opt for the rope swing for a bit of excitement! Entry ticket and lunch will be provided. Tubes are available for hire. The hot springs are home to many Doctor fish who will clean your dead skin if you sit still!
When you are ready we will return back to Moshi and drop you off at your desired location.
Note: the amenities (including change rooms and toilets) at the hot springs are very basic so we would encourage guests to use the bathroom before leaving and wearing their swimming attire to start the tour. Don’t forget to bring towels!

What To Expect
Kikuletwa Hotsprings
Swim and relax at the beautiful hot springs. Use the rope swing for some action or rent a inflatable tube if you prefer to relax. We will spend about 1.5 hours at the hot springs depending on what your prefer. The remaining time will be travel time. For the tuk tuk / private vehicle it’s 1hr each way. For cycling it’s 3-4hrs each way. 5.00Wonderful spot, little paradise with a rope swing and fun vibes. Our guide Regani let us enjoy the water untill we were fully satisfied and after he showed us the area, where it all began and where the monkeys can be found etc.. He was also on time to pick us up in the morning and provided extra info along the tuktukride. Certainly highly recommendable!

5.00I had a really good day, the tuk-tuk ride was nice, the water beautiful and the meal very tasty! My guide made sure we arrived early and I enjoyed the first 15min swimming on my own. Careful if you don’t like getting “fish feet massages” they are very present in the area, impossible to avoid.

5.00We visited the hot springs, road a Tuktuk, could see various views of Kili, saw Masai village, etc. Out guide named Regean was a very friendly and good guide that took photos for us and was very knowledgeable of the area. I would highly recommend this trip. This was much more affordable than taking the same trip with a hotel or travel agent.

5.00We had a very pleasant day at the hot springs. It was a lot cheaper than going with Zara tours and we don't regret it. The ride there with the TukTuk was fun, we took different routes on the way in and on the way back so we explore the area more. Our guide, Regani, was friendly and our lunch was great. The hot springs are fairly small but it's really beautiful and we enjoyed our swim. We really recommend them !

5.00The hot springs were amazing. Our tour guide was very informative and explained so much stuff along the drive to hot spring. It's was kind of a long drive in tuk tuk but we got to see so much and learn a lot along the way. The hot springs are not very hot but was perfect temp for this climate. The rope swing was fun, saw lizards and lots of small fish, some others seen turtles. The lunch provided was very good. I would highly recommend this tour, it was not real touristy.

5.00Good tour with a professional and nice tour guide Regan. Highly recommend bringing sun glasses, a jacket, hat and mask as the road in the villages can be quite dusty if you take the tuk tuk/bajaji option. The tour guide is on time, professional and explains things well.

5.00After a day at Materuni Falls, Boni organised my day trip to Chemka Hot Springs as well. The tuk tuk ride was fun and expertly navigated by Stevie, while Inno was highlighting the sights on the way. The springs are so beautiful and absolutely worth visiting for a relaxed day of swimming in beautiful crystal water and playing on the tree swing. Recommend both Chemka and Aromoshi Tours to take you there!!
